Pet parrot Doesn’t recast the cards reduced to one mana in Priest via the Hunter tourism.
Examples are:
Puppet Theatre copies
Thirsty Drifter reduced to one mana when played
The logic is that pet parrot let’s you replay 1 cost cards
not cards with their cost adjusted to 1, which are not 1 cost cards
Effects in the game that retroactively check events in the game (almost) always look at the base version of cards.
For a card reduced to 1 to count as a 1 cost card, you have to use it in synergy with a card that will check the event in real time
Sonya will check the current cost of a card you play
pet parrot will check the base cost of the card you played
Not the most intuitive mechanic, but since it’s kindoff how it has worked as far as I remember, I can only assume it’s the intended behavior
