The card “Pet Parrot” for hunter no longer interacts properly with the Hunter quest “The Food Chain”.
In the past, if you played the card to complete the quest, the quest completion would trigger first, then the battlecry which would recast the quest if you hadn’t played any other 1 Cost cards.
After the most recent updates it no longer works this way. The battlecry now triggers first and then the quest completion triggers. To make matters worse, even if you play Pet Parrot after having finished the quest, the battlecry will still trigger first, but the minion itself won’t register for the quest.
Was this change/inconsistency intentional? As it stands Pet Parrot was a barely used card and this fun little use for it no longer works.
