In the past three or four days, when a new quest pops in, the screen blurs, and when I click out of the quest popup display, the screen stays permanently blurred. The only way to get rid of the blur is to re-start the game. This issue just started for me a few days ago.
I am playing on Windows 7, old AMD video card, windowed mode, changing graphics settings does not remove the blur.
I also saw this happen to Kripp on stream. People have also been reporting it apparently since last December.

I’m pretty sure this is known already, given how often it already was reported. It appears to happen consistently if a game spans the time quests are given at your server.
Your statement that you can only fix this by a quit and restart is incorrect. A faster alternative is to go into the pack opening screen and then exit out of it again. (You do not need to actually open a pack - in fact you do not even need to have any unopened packs).

Someone said the quest screen, but that didn’t work. I’ll try the pack opening screen. Thanks. I looked on the “known issues” page here, and the issue wasn’t there. So I made the post.

Can someone fix this please? I’m having this issue for months already and exiting every time after playing a game or finishing quests is just annoying.

just start a new game while blurred , no need to exit game and restart

How long can this go on. Does Blizzard just not fix bugs anymore? No profit = no effort?
I can’t “just start a new game” if I can’t even read or see my decks to choose one.
Then you can enter the pack opening screen and back out to the main menu, that also clears the issue.
Came back after an extended absence. Got this bug twice.
It really kills the momentum of playing, so Hearthstone is back on the Uninstalled list.
Dunno how Blizzard can just allow this bug to exist for this long.
Seems to be triggered hard by the adventure mode. Getting it just about every time I play. They should just delete the blur effect completely from the code. It probably speed things up a little anyway.
