People that afk/close the app when they lose instead of conceding

Is it more likely they’re salty or lazy?

Salty = intentionally make you wait for the ”your opponent has left” or a full rope for two straight turns.

Lazy = They’re playing on mobile and they’ve decided the games over so they just put their phone away while the game is still running or just close the app and surf Facebook.

Lazy. Its a problem in the engine it takes it so long to realize they have left so you there sitting waiting for a couple turns. Some are salty but not as many as you think.

Definitely salty. Auto-loss on disconnect would be a feature I’d like to see.

It’s that way to make sure people have time to reconnect if something happens to their internet connection.

All it takes is hitting the lock button. Mix of salt and laziness.

I’ve seen this little trick used lately by some opponents trying to get me to quit so they can pull themselves out of the poop they got themselves in, usually when i just got lethal and when it reconnects me, suddenly my board control has completely disappeared and so has the record of which cards were played, it’s annoying as hell. And my net hasn’t dropped either as my music is still streaming happily along at the same time.
In some of these player’s defence though, it’s not nice getting rope burned either so it can be a bit titfortat.

I do it to p*ss them off nothing more amazing at how many people get mad when you do that to them.

It’s a win. I take those.

Congrats, dude! You won.

The odd time I do it it’s because I am so salty I’m not paying attention to what I click and I select quit instead of concede

So the autosquelcher is also a sore loser, who takes pride in an imaginary reaction that their opponent has?

Why am I not surprised.

That actually works the other way around. When they quit like that, I always assume they raged so hard they probably punched their screen.

Makes me feel good knowing that I made someone rage in anger. It’s especially gratifying because I play homebrew decks.

Makes me smile ear to ear that my homebrew makes them rage quit and they are playing a meta deck.

Please continue to do so. I use those few minutes to cackle devilishly.

The times when my opponent has obviously rage quit are few and far between, but when my opponent has disconnected and is roping turns I range from fleeting annoyance to “eh it’s a win” to “eh, all right, I’ll wait it out” to “I hope they don’t come back” to “whoops, they didn’t like that/they shouldn’t have done that”

I would like to see an actual Casual format.

I would like to see Auto Squelch.

I would like to NOT see gold bordered tweaked to the max netdecks farming casual where I am just trying to do the daily but have to go through stomp face stompy face stompy face stompy face for X amount of games until I get the daily done.

I would like to see an RNG that’s actually a random dealer than a routine dealer, meaning every game every match just follows a pretty much a precision pattern from turn 1 to win condition. (see any Hunter deck as an Example)

So, since Blizzard has no intention to make “nicer” features would could make the game much more fun for everyone…

Yep, not really concerned about what’s going on in the game while its runs and just doing that bore chore daily.

Yep, I was going to lose this game 100% chance anyways. No GG…No concede…

You can just sit there and collect your free win playing in casual with a deck that does all the winning for you.

Signed,
Salty
