People netdecking even at bronze/silver

You guys completely missed the point. I’m saying people that are stuck at bronze/silver who have been there for months if not years.

They will never get legend either way so why not play something fun instead of tryharding just to be stuck in silver lol

have you tried playing in casual?
If you don’t aim to climb, it’s a great place.

If you see a meta deck you can just concede: they will eventually disappear.
I almost never saw meta decks in casual, but only in rare occasions. I still saw decks that made sense but weren’t good for ladder, so don’t expect people to play strange archetypes that makes no sense

You seem to have forgotten how hearthstone works. Let me enlighten you.

  • The people who actually play the game (top end streamers, “pros” etc…) ~figure out the meta and evolve it with time by playing hundreds if not thousands of games with other top end people and sitting around and theory crafting things out, things including but not limited to: adding/subtracting copies of cards, what tech card(s) to include and when, figuring out the strategy for said deck(s), etc…

This comprises about 1-5% (maybe 10%) of the player base as a whole.

  • The remainder just copy the deck(s) as well as how they saw a streamer play it (but not nearly at that level because they dont have an intricate understanding of those niche situations that occur during every game and dont spend enough time playing games to attain said level) and then pretend like they are good because “hurr durr I got a high rank with a deck I just threw dust/money at till I had it”

You’ve complained about Tickatus a while ago, now you cry about other broken decks. I strongly believe you would like Tickatus back to meta now, because after all it was not oppressive like these cancer decks nowadays

You mean like how Reynad claimed to invent Zoo deck, despite it being a thing from MTG that he just copied and pasted to hearthstone?

How is a new player to know that you consider the deck he found online to be broken?

Also, is there a real definition for “broken”.

no idea who that is
no idea about your claim

Complaining about a player who is net decking is futile. Players at every rank, if they have the means to play the cards and the decks that is currently meta, regardless if it’s broken or not, than all the more power to them. Enjoy the game and the cards you have, even if you copied a code to build the deck. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Hey, I’m stuck in silver with priest.

But I do feel like why the hell are all these DH players still in low silver? What are they doing.
Then I see the lack of basic math or even understanding of the deck. They keep trading and clearing my minions even tho I’m clearly a quest priest that won’t even get any face DMG in.

Nobody is stopping you from playing fun decks. Also I don’t think too many people would aim for a professional dice roller HS competitor though. I think you’re safer with poker.

Its worse than even this, even from bronze ten its only full net decks, as a new or long returning player that only has the beginner decks you cannot win, well, occasionally you come across a player who is clearly brand new and just purchased his net deck with no concept of how to play, so there is the odd win, but nothing beyond that, all you do as a new or retuning player is to feed wins to the p2w right from the start.

It is only two way:
Play netdeck which has been tested by millions of people or play your new own one and lose a million times until you debug it…

This topic again? People can play whatever they want, so long as it doesn’t break the game or constitutes exploitation of game mechanics. On another note, I don’t want others to think that I’m dismissive of their achievements, but getting to legend is not a big feat. If anything, anyone who can consistently get to D5 and above are deserving of legend status, albeit some more than others. Legend cannot -and should not- accommodate to every player — if anything, legend grinding is just a time sinking activity. The vast majority of people in D5 and above could easily make it to legend if they got the time to sink into it.

But please; just because I said so, doesn’t mean you cannot flail around your legend card back, nor fly golden colours. I’ve never made a big deal out of it, not least of all to prove a point, attempt to discredit others’ opinions, or gain over only because “I am legend, and what I say goes.”
