@PC Users: Deck Tracker is invaluable

This topic is not an advertisement. I’ve noticed a large amount of players that choose to disregard HsReplay.net. This is a bad idea. Below I will provide instructions for downloading this tracker.

Firstly, visit HSReplay.net, for free. (I do recommend purchasing premium). From there, sign up and do not worry about signing in with your Blizzard account. This is perfectly safe to do. It’s similar to linking your Twitch and YouTube accounts, with which you can link your battletag.

Secondly, click on the “Downloads” option, located at the top right of the website.

Thirdly, download and install Deck Tracker. Deck Tracker is ready out-of-the-box, for the most part. I recommend browsing the numerous options to customize the Deck Tracker how you’d like it.

Lastly, at this point, open Hearthstone, click “Hearthstone,” and then “My Collection.” This should work to upload your collection to HsReplay.net.

Now that you’ve done all of that, you’ll see you’re signed into your battletag (again, do not worry about anything malicious happening).

After you have completed all of this, you can browse decks, and with your collection uploaded, you will see what cards you are missing for certain decks – and decks you have the cards to craft.

I’m making this topic for all PC Hearthstone players that lack this immensely beneficial program.

Finally, by clicking on “My Data,” you will be able to watch your replays to gauge how you could have done better. Moreoever, you will be able to share your replays here for pointers and other recommendations.

Hope this helps someone.

If I pay for premium can I withhold my data from being used?

Does this program have auto-squelch?

As my opponent plays cards, does it show likely cards that my opponent has in their deck?

Yes. Even if you’re only using the Deck Tracker, which is completely free, you can disable HSReplay from collecting your anonymous data. I would suggest enabling that, if only to help bolster the website’s data, thereby helping the website to be more accurate in its reporting.

@Mathews: Yes, you can hide your data if you’d rather not share it with HSReplay. This program used to have auto-squelch, but hasn’t in months due to the plug-in not having been updated in several months, maybe even a year.

It will not show a complete list of your opponent’s deck. It will show you what they play, it will show you how long certain cards have stayed in their hand (likely a powerful card), it helps navigate secrets, it shows how many cards are in both players hand (without having to count manually), and it even helps play around secrets.

I almost forgot, but upon dredging, the Deck Tracker will show you what cards are at the bottom of your deck, and what card is at the top of your deck. This program is all but guaranteed to improve your overall performance.

Hard disagree from me , one of the best things i learned from my old math teacher was to not heavly rely on crutches aka calculators.

I see deck trackers in the same light, theres nothing they provide that i cant do myself and its prolonged use would only make me a worse player in the long run.

The replays are indeed a nice function but not enouth to outweigh the negative impact in my mind.
Deck trackers arent for everyone even more if you are in mobile.

To each their own. If you don’t want to get into Deck Tracker, that’s completely understandable. This topic was intended mostly for lurkers and newer players that may have been unaware of this Deck Tracker, and its numerous benefits.

If you perform just fine without it, then, hey, apparently you don’t need it! Good on you.

Edit: I must’ve missed your mobile comment. In those circumstances, mobile players are out of luck, alas.

To combine those two quotes, and to clarify, my thinking is that lurkers and new players are unawares of Deck Tracker, and what it does. When I said “a large amount of players,” those two types forementioned are the players I’m refering to. These players are very possibly also unaware of HSReplay/net, as well as its importance in judging metas and deciding what’s best to use for the player’s pocket meta*. I’d say the most invaluable aspect is being able to watch one’s replays. This is not only an excellent way to spot misplays, and these can also be shared on places like this forum for some of the better players here to help advise.

(Players without HSReplay premium, I should warn, need to take the free statistics shown on the website with a couple grains of salt, of course. I should add, that https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/ is another, and probably better, website for this kind of stuff.)

Some times i wonder how many people im talking too , this is not the first time you make conflicting arguments in the same topic.

I cant keep up like this and no sarcasm intented im realy confused .
I will take my leave.

I’m confused that you’re confused. What I am tring to say is that lurkers, and new/returning players, which comprise a large enough group of players I mentioned, could probably benefit from this Deck Tracker, and replays.

I think you’re trying to point to a contradiction. Although, my clarifcation should have made obvious what I meant.

Edit: I’ll gladly concede if I made conflicting statements. Could you please elaborate?

At any rate, take care. No hard feelings, I hope.
