Think alot of wild players are happy.
Echo cards cannot cost less than 1 now.
Dev Comment : This change is targeted at a very popular deck in Wild that utilizes SN1P-SN4P along with the Echo mechanic to generate extremely large minions or near infinite damage. This change should put a stop to that interaction while having very limited impact on the average use case for Echo cards. Glinda, SN1P-SN4P, and Sound the Bells were the three cards that took advantage of generating 0-cost copies through Echo, so we’ve opted to refund all three of those cards as a result.

The final battle in the Year of the Dragon’s solo adventure story is Galakrond’s Awakening, coming this January! We won’t spoil too much, but we hope you’re ready to battle E.V.I.L. (or good) and collect 35 new cards !

Did I read that correctly? The in game shop will now offer Wild Packs??? For gold???

Well, you can’t buy the Heroes for gold and they still haven’t given us more deck slots.

The skeptic in me won’t believe it until I see it…
Are they random wild packs? Or do you get to choose your expansion?
Also, if they’re bringing back adventures, I’ll be able to buy Naxx for gold and then I’ll have all the original adventures.
And they’re offering refunds for the echo cards in the combo?*

Yeah, sounds like it’s an old-style Adventure package, and this is where the “You Decide!” angle must come into things. I’m going to guess that Blizzard is tracking how many victories are E.V.I.L. victories versus how many are League of Explorers and that will have some sort of effect on the game or on the rewards from the Adventure.
THAT makes me super-excited to see what the PvE content is going to be!

That’s a spicy meatball of an update. Nice to see they’re putting Wild Packs in the store for Gold. I told them they needed to do that on day 1 when Wild first was released.
Of course - people will complain that they still haven’t added more deck slots and still haven’t added a squelch toggle … but you can’t have it all.
