What is really funny, and not in the good way, is them thinking the nerf to Blazing invocation actually will curb Mug Shaman
You’re not a warlock player are you? Look from what I have seen the card still needs major help. Even YouTube hearthstone podcasters like Rarran and the like still say it may need taunt or rush to make it competitive. I myself have played it for hours to see if it could be made to work and I can say with full knowledge that for a 5/5 for 5 that only has a deathrattle in this hyper aggressive meta it may still not be enough.
Just the person who did Farm the pre release brawl with a moorag deck.
Warlock has many problems in standard. That card not being a instawin Button isn’t one of then.
Instead of fixing anything you want to slam a overpowered card over and act like this fix anything in the long run.
Warlock is broken in wild and junk in standard because every now and then devs keep wasting expansion slots with wild synergy with no place in standard.
Perhaps so it seems you are upset mostly because of warlocks in wild. Hmm…well the devs banned several cards in wild and now they should bring warlock up to the meta in standard which is very aggressive. You may not agree but that is OK the game isn’t just for you. Besides it isn’t instant win. It’s adding a dynamic that you must figure out how to work around. Many tools come to mind, silence, hex, gain control, poof, just to name a few. You make it sound like it’s the end of the world that you’ll have to think your way around a problem instead of just steam rolling through.
Changes are laughable as usual. They have no idea how to balance their own game. A mana bump here, +1/+1 or -1/1 there. Never touching the core problems in how the gameplay has devolved into a complete joke.
And that is why moorag even goes to 9 to start with. Because the game is not only for me.
And i don’t know where exactly i look upset. Just not clapping every time someone brings the “meta diversity” buzzword is not that.
Also…
Who was telling buffs to It weren’t enough anyways?
Exactly. You.
Stop projecting you being upset that they did not broke the card on me. I answered with an opnion on why they did not. Not more than that.
Oh bless your heart!
1.Yes I was stating that it needed buffs as I was pointing out that in today’s meta it would be considered a dead turn that can be considered to slow in standard. I don’t deny this and even referenced hearthstone podcasters for stating the same thing.
- As to you being upset? I don’t know perhaps the speed and the rapid amount of editing you did over and over again to respond to me that was shown at the bottom of the page when I was about to respond to someone else? Surely that plus how you write and how checking your profile history others on this forum consider you a bully in other posts. So…if the shoe fits?
Nah. It is Just me knowing my engligh is bad.
The rogue minion is dead, they could change for not hit heroes instead, or at least increase the stats, now is completely useless.
If we make an assessment of the card based on how it performed pre-nerf, it’s going to be doing at minimum 15 damage from a 3 mana card. Considering they buffed it to gain damage while in deck, it’s more like a 20-25 damage card for 3 mana. It’s not dead. It’s very much alive because at any point if you don’t have board presence, they have a double pyroblast for 3 mana, and a quad pyroblast for 6 mana.
Just had a rogue still play the monkey against my Zee shaman, AFTER I played a double battlecry Slagclaw, wiped his own board out too
Speaking of MugZee, consider that a double slagclaw is like…
That’s 12 damage for 5 mana right (4 on first battlecry, then 8 on second with 2 more elementals summoned), plus a lot of board that can do another 8 damage on DR.
Even pre nerf, rogue monkey would need you spend 12 mana to play six 2-cost cards to do that much damage. On a much weaker body, with no DR.
Granted there’s the whole mugzee restriction and kindred restriction, but that’s just one thing mugzee can do.
So yeah, mugzee reminds me of warrior’s brann in how it just overcharges their respective class’ decks. Except you actually need to play Brann first.
And seeing how light they nerfed shaman, it’s apparent mugzee is going to be like brann for warriors for the next while. Expect almost every shaman to run it.
You invested the time and effort to learn a second language. That places you in very elite company here:)
Even shaman was playing Mug shaman, after the “nerf” I see a bit more zee shaman
Could make Confront 8 mana it would still be played in every hunter deck
I think I said before that it could be 7 mana and would still see play in like the first week it was released lol
We’re almost there!
The better nerf to Tolvir would’ve been to give it the same rule as Contraband Stash where it only replays X amount of cards.
Or remove the “enemies” tag and have it target anything.
This was the kill the fun new thing rogue had to play patch, everything else survives.
And vanessa i was okay with getting axed, but they double whammied rogue.
Like hunter still playable and good with their new stuff,
Mug shaman still good
Warrior decks, still good
New rogue deck, completely dead, two cost rogue is obliterated, and we left with nothimg new to play, rogues legendaries are not competitive.
So congratulations on killing off something new that was working and playable blizzard.
the Moragg “Buff” is hilarious because it does nothing for the card. They did it to make players think its a buff because they can’t do math and don’t understand the prepare mechanic. Making it 8 would have actually made it a better card but they are scared (for good reason) to do that. That said the deck is still better than it was but has issues against aggro without a nuts opening draw.
They actually fixed DH though. The problem was not enough cards to generate into the top of the demon pool. Now you can hit those much easier. I figured the gimmick was designed to make it extremely difficult to hit those top tier minions but it looks like they were just clueless and couldn’t count either.
Hunter was the big winner of this patch because moving Tolvir to 5 does nothing. Card likely would be played at 7 cost it’s just that good.
Demon hunter may end up as the best deck after a few days but i see some weaknesses in it so we will have to see.
