Patch is up let’s discuss

Can’t wait to hear the reactions to this patch

… wow this patch changes nothing.

Sludgelock is a little weaker. I guess. Which is probably the only good change implemented for standard.

None of those buffs do ANYTHING. Big Shaman won’t be playable against Control Warrior ever, every single buffed card rotates in less than a month (meaning the classes might as well have not been buffed).

I am incredibly disappointed. Even poor DH got essentially nothing in return to a brutal destruction of it’s only viable archetype.

No reason to bother with this patch. Completely useless. Both for BGs and standard.

Feels like cashgrab.

Go here and craft those cards in less than a month before rotation.

Sorry to say but It feels and probably is. Despite of the cards being bad and having little to no impact.

I had a chuckle about the warlock changes.

I am rather skeptical that these changes will have sufficient impact on the deck.

“We’re experimenting with buffing some of the previously nerfed classes to give them one last hurrah before the rotation”

and then they buff mech mage instead of rainbow mage KEKW
  :joy:   :joy: :joy:    :joy:

yeah Fracking MECH MAGE, the shatty cousin of mech paladin/rogue. Let’s go, more of “multiple classes doing the exact same thing!” my favorite!

Patch note summary

Control Warrior and Death knight stocks are rising

Do we really need EVEN MORE control warrior and death knight on ladder?

Phew, just 1 health on wheels, 2 attack on waste guy, but chaos creation only summons a 5 drop now :frowning: lmao. No more Mukla 10/10 rush sadness…

I assume by “one last hurrah before rotation” they meant buffing rotating cards

Lol

The buffs are even worse trash changes than I thought they would be.

This patch is actually WORSE for Priest because their usable card got nerfed and the other two are so insignificantly bad that the overall patch is a nerf to Priest which was already in a bad state.

Looks like my prediction that Warrior takes over is pretty much solidified here.

I swear the dev team has zero clue what they want Priest to look like.

Harkened of dread is gonna be incredibly sticky like that card is way better now.

Uhh… well i did think it was weird to patch so close to an expansion release.

Other side shaman is fun but thats not a very relevant buff. The taunt buff is huge, though. Thats actually kinda crazy.

None of these buffs seem that relevant to me. Theyre fun i guess.

The nerfs are much better. I like these sludge nerfs mostly. Wheels is kind of the engine of the deck so a nerf to it will really snowball. I think the chaos creation nerf is weak, though. And I cant imagine why they refuse to nerf forge of wills.

Its about consistency, Priest had 3 matchups in the green last Vs report while Mage only had 1 .
In order to be fair for both classes Priest had to drop 2 of those green matchups.

It would be even better if they dropped to 0 matchups in the green, now that would be a sight to see.

just… yea, wow i really forget that i shouldnt get my hopes up about standard

Shoutout to 1 good looking buff though. That hunter epic build a beast guy is a great 1 drop. If people could get off Warrior an DK’s slongs enough to play the class.

it’s an O K. 1 drop, it’s still a 1/2 and Zombeasts are not as good as they used to be.

lmao shaman can’t live til turn 7

Who’s ready for UNDEAD SHAMAN META?

Here is a reaction. What do mechs have to do with anything mage has coming in Standard?
SoS. Mage has elementals currently and so they buff mechs,.
