When I enter the Battle.net app I get the notification of the new patch, when I hit the update button, below it appears a loading bar that remains at 0% for more than 3 hours. I tried turning off and turning on my computer later, I deactivated the antivirus and used the scan and repair option, but nothing works. This is the first time this has happened to me.
While I’m not on the technical support team myself, you can make their life a lot easier by posting the following information:
OS version
Exact hs version (you can find this under the play button in the battle.net launcher, next to region)
Basic system specs: (cpu, gpu, etc.)
And I can also recommend attempted to reset your winsock. Winsock is an API that basically helps your computer communicate with other devices.
To reset your winsock, type ‘cmd’ in your searchbar. Right click the ‘command prompt’ app and click ‘Run as Administrator’.
In the command prompt type: ‘netsh winsock reset’ (without the quotes) and after that, restart your computer and try again to update the game.
