I saw some pirate warriors there: no clue what they are looking for.
They probably like to waste time in the queue since I believe some people will just insta concede against them

Yep, was trying to test a Mage deck without certain “key” netdeck cards and it was pirate lock or rattle priests…
So hilariously boring to play against
They’re probably new to the deck and want to learn it in casual before ladder so they don’t lose rank.

I think people playing meta decks in casual are a joke. Play what you want, but you can get more benefit playing the same deck in ranked for more rewards.

Any warlock deck will see play at the lower ranks simply due to the core cards in the deck almost everyone has now. Splash in your win condition and bang you have a Warlock deck.

Maybe they dont feel safe in ranked , maybe they need to test it out before , maybe its not a meta deck but something similar that player thought off himself and want to test out

Like I said, go for it. They’re only hurting themselves. Xp gain is larger in ranked. If you have a viable deck, why wouldn’t you. They even added floors you can’t drop below.

Yea but just like real life , some have trouble with ranking/numbers , i say let them be .
I was one of them until i got over it a few months ago and now will only Q ranked no matter what implaying or what rank im at !!!
Resurrection Priest is rather scary in these deathrattle types. The ability to keep trading and upgrading Amulet is rather terrifying.
So a player who sees OwlTK deck as top of the meta and decides to craft it is just supposed to immediately go to ranked and play it as if they know how to play it?
Why does it never occur to people that others play decks in Casual to get a feel for the deck and how it operates before taking it serious and putting their rank at stake to play it?
This is probably especially true for newer players or players who don’t normally play that class and just opened up the cards for that deck.
Because this particular player knew what they were doing…

but it not top of the meta, paladin is but that deck way more expensive to craft.
I thought people don’t play meta decks in Casual ever and that’s why it still needs to exist and my experience since beta of play exclusively against meta decks every time i queued Casual was an anomaly. Could it be that Casual is basically the same as regular constructed and now with the rank floors to protect your rank there is next to no extra risk to just queue normal mode so Casual serves no purpose anymore?
