Order of Deathrattle triggers

I reported this years ago, and it’s still not fixed. Please fix the Deathrattle order, especially now with the cancer Meteor Shaman. It’s more important than ever! When minions die, their Deathrattles should trigger immediately, not after all the meteors and other effects have already triggered!

Deathrattles trigger when the minion is removed from the board.

When a minion is destroyed as part of a larger chain of events, it typically remains on the board until that entire chain has fully resolved, and then it is removed.

So, it would seem that the game is behaving correctly.

The request to “fix deathrattles” implies that you have observed an actual bug. Please tell us the bug.

Or are you saying that you want the game to behave differently?

If so, then that belongs in the suggestion forum, not the bug report forum.

No i say that this is a bug or yes a very stupid dev decision.
It should not trigger when it is removed but when its life reaches 0

This would cause lots of gameplay changes.

For example, a deathrattle that summons another minion would not work on a full board, because the “dying” minion would still be present on the battlefield, so there would be no room to summon a new minion.

The devs could have made deathrattles work this way, but they chose not to.

And some cards do check for dead minions and remove them without waiting, for example Defile. But those are the exception, not the rule.

it is still unbelievable stupid. when i get armour from the minion i should get it befor i die when the minion died befor me

stupid or not is a matter of opinion, but what you’re describing is intended behavior, not a bug
