Orbital Moon doesn't give Reborn if its generated

I played onyx magescribe next to the boulder and generated the orbital moon and it didnt give reborn to the boulder

so order of operations
you play onyx
you spellburst
you generate the mooncard
you then play the mooncard
no reborn given

That’s not what the requirement is.

You need to play a card that was next to the orbital moon in your hand, not to play a card next to the minion you will use the orbital moon on
