The theme of the expansion is to intentionally rain asteroids down on you and the extra spell damage makes it more exciting.
However an asteroid deck without Incindius is mediocre because just having multiple minions (especially with shields) wreck it.
Therefore they will nerf the non-space-themed Incindius before oracle if they know their own game.

Incindius is not the issue. Making the card more expensive or reducing the number of eruptions would kill that card for any other deck but Asteroid Shaman. And playing the Shudderblock + Incindius combo is almost impossible if you are facing a Paladin, Hunter or Swarm Shaman.
Triangulate could go up to 3 mana maybe. Or make it that the spell is put on the top of the deck instead of being drawn.

I can’t take yiu seriously with garbage takes like that. Oracle is fine? Yeah nope go check how it’s broken in cycle rogue or any shaman deck.

I would say that the real issue in Shaman asteroid is Shudderwuck. For 1 card, it does far too much for them. The effect has been too powerful since the card came out and smart shamans find ways to abuse the hell out of it. Shudder, wait a turn, Incendius, then bounce or copy Incendius heh. After that, any draw cards they have are absolutely deadly. Oracle is just a bit of extra salt on the wound.

Good luck finding a matchup where you can afford to do essentially nothing for 2 turns. 3 turns if you bounce or copy Incindius (if the minion survives this long).
Azure drake a 5 mana 4/5 card with spell damage and one card draw (wasn’t even tutor for spells) was getting hall of fame treatment, imagine the problem now being twofold due to lower mana cost of ethereal oracle as well as tutor for spell cards. Incindius itself is fine, Incindius is fine in rogue and it’s also fine in demon hunter, and it definitely is fair in shaman.
I honestly think the Asteroid deck should be buffed just to put the nail in the coffin of “Do nothing Warrior” decks. Those decks are coming back into fashion and they need to just never exist again in standard.
Those are most probably counters to the pirate shamans because pirate shamans’ boards are thin of HP and are wrecked easily by typical warrior defense or typical death knights.
Don’t care. Tired of the do nothing warrior decks just like i got sick of do nothing priest decks. It’s obviously an opinion but i want to watch those decks just disappear from standard forever. There has to be a better way to compete against those decks that these warrior decks are good against.
You’re not getting an argument from me. I had cards only for paladin when Reno Warrior was the meme.
But I can’t help but notice Swarm Shaman is now the best deck and asteroid/eruption is not.
Lol yiu can’t be serious? Control do nothing warrior is pretty bad and asteroid shaman is almost meta. Last thing i wanna is play against non interactive bs all the time.

Oracle is going to be the card nerfed as it’s the thing going into way, waaaay more decks than just asteroids.
These days it’s harder to find decks oracle doesn’t improve than the other way around.
That’s not true of incindius.

As someone who played it as a win condition combo finisher before asteroids, there is never a reason to not use asteroids too in that kind of deck.
The only other use he has is as a good elemental, but I don’t think that’s worth worrying over nerfing.
But, also, no, he’s not the problem. I’m not convinced there is one for that deck anyway.
Yeah, Oracle is a clear power outlier and can be seen in multitude of decks as a proof. Granted, asteroids as a mechanic is obnoxious but Blizzard clearly loves it because that is like the fourth time they are revisiting that pool (bombs, corrupted blood, garrote and plagues).
Well you were the closest one to actually catch on. I am NOT serious but it was fun to advocate for a bad deck and try and stir the pot up a bit. Hint: I’m not a fan of either deck style.
