Im rank 14 in wild and I continually am versing people with golden heroes, 1000 wins, and people with full golden decks (I know they aren’t using golden Whizzbang cause i have one myself and know the decks inside out) Do i just have really bad luck?

When I said players with fully golden decks i made a mistake, i meant to say almost full golden decks
I’m rank 12 -13 now (i keep on going back and forth) and i don’t see the type of players i said before
I know golden decks and heroes and things aren’t everything and if you do have golden stuff then you’re not necessarily better, but the these were the people that were absolutely demolishing me
-Golden Heroes. Nothing strange here this is Wild. the Mode for people who have 2years+ worth of cards. As such having Golden heroes aint that big a surprice.
-1000 wins. Remind me. Aint that one and the same?
-full golden decks. I simply dont believe you. In the last year i havnt encountered a single full golden deck bar the one i finished myself last month by dusting 5years worth of golden cards.
While not impossible you make it sound like you see them all the time.

When i started playing in Open Beta way back, i too hit a wall. It was Rank 17. It was simply the limit my current collection/deck could take me at the time.
Later on i could hit Rank 14 with DS/IF Priest. And before someone out there complains it was Classic. DS/IF was just plain bad but for noobs like me it was just fun building a 30/30+ Lightspawn and smashing face with it.
As time progressed you learn what works and doesnt(Class forums where a godsent in my opinion. still mourn their loss). You get better cards and play better and i hit rank 10.
At that time i could push to 8 and while i still think i could go further it was just to timeconsuming.(Ctrl Priest vs Wallet Warrior of old)
Realisticly looking at it i believe hit a wall but still.
I think a lot of people have left and it’s mostly those that have invested a lot in the game who remain (meaning they have a large collection and some amount of knowledge). Thus, the general difficulty level got higher.
No. It is the Wild. Most people here don’t rush for the top but play for fun. Seeing strange decks such as full-golden or 35 legendaries on low ranges is nothing special here. If you climb higher, you’ll see less of them.
Your title says “Opponents too good” but your OP talks about nothing but cosmetics. Are you under some weird delusion that blinging out your deck makes it stronger or that people who bling out their decks are more skilled due to having bling?
first thing is i actually know someone that will decide to play a deck then go out and start crafting the golden copies and wont play that deck till its all gold. Then again he only plays two decks. then as for OP rank 14 decent and you will start to find resistance, cant understand why your surprized unless you think getting legend is easy. Also golden decks mean nothing more than a person with too much money. point stop. Nice piece Sagi was worth the read.
