Opponent Myrmidome / Friedly Stag Bug?

Bug Report for Hearthstone Battlegrounds

Title: “Gentle Stag” effect causes reset of “Corrupted Myrmidome” stats

Description: When the effect of the “Gentle Stag” card is triggered, it causes the stats of the opponent’s “Corrupted Myrmidome” minion to reset. Specifically, the following happens:

  1. The “Corrupted Myrmidome” starts the turn with 30/30 stats.
  2. The “Corrupted Myrmidome” attacks, survives with 30/10.
  3. A friendly minion is summoned, triggering the effect of “Gentle Stag,” which gives all friendly minions on the far-right +2/+2.
  4. However, at the same time, the stats of the “Corrupted Myrmidome” are reset—rather than keeping its current stats of 30/10, it is reset to 30/30, which is unintended behavior.

Expected Behavior: The stats of the “Corrupted Myrmidome” should not be reset when the effect of “Gentle Stag” is triggered. Instead, the current stats of “Corrupted Myrmidome” (e.g., 30/10) should remain intact even after a friendly minion is summoned.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Play “Gentle Stag” and place a friendly minion on the far-right side of your board.
  2. Put “Corrupted Myrmidome” on the board with 30/30 stats.
  3. Have “Corrupted Myrmidome” attack and survive (e.g., with 30/10).
  4. Summon another minion, triggering the effect of “Gentle Stag.”
  5. Observe that the stats of “Corrupted Myrmidome” reset (it goes from 30/10 back to 30/30).

Impact: This bug can lead to unexpected and unbalanced gameplay, as it incorrectly alters the stats of an opponent’s minion in a way that is not intended.

Severity: High, as this issue can significantly affect the gameplay and balance of the game.

I doubt they’d consider a specific interaction between 2 specific minions from different tribes plus an extra trigger that just incorrectly gives health back to a minion a “high severity issue”

Your opponent surviving lethal damage IS a high severity issue, and as far as I’m aware of it, that still hasn’t been solved in years despite happening on a regular basis

Ultimatley they are the only juges of what the sevirity is, and the point of view of the company usually is not the same as the one of the users (and even not the devs)
