Since several days, when playing classic matches, I only get enemies with random sounding names (something like “hsghkgo” or “lsohrxk”) and all of them seem to play the same weak deck with the same vanilla cards. They are very easy enemies although I am on rank gold 3.

Yeah it’s not a bug, just many many MANY bots farming classic mode.

Ah, I didn’t know it’s a known issue. Is this something that will be fixed soon? It completely breaks ranked mode for classic matches
Blizzard knows it for weeks, but didn’t announce a fix for it yet.
most death knights in standard low rank are like this to there all bots report every single one of them they ban them about once a month they said in waves its realy bad tho so just play secret hunter or control warrior in classic and you should be fine
In my opinion, it is always worse at the end of the month when players are spread all over the ladder and is consistently better for a couple weeks at the beginning of the months.

I’m in Diamond and every opponent is a bot. It’s ridiculous(but hey, free wins!)
lol yeah last month I got to classic legend for the first time and literally didn’t face a single human enemy. After diamond 5 tho I did run into opponents that at least played non-basic cards.

Also, are you really still running into them? I haven’t run into a single bot in classic for like the past month.
I’ve seen the same thing, it’s annoying. I still get the same thing from years ago where people have their bots set to use their hero power at a certain time. I have reported them but I genuinely don’t think blizzard is looking into it because multiple times I have gone against the same person I reported a couple matches later. Which makes you think if their botting like this how did they even rank up?
