On A Roll and then some

Because of the recent Headliner’s Tour event, I actually decided to craft a nearly complete Mage Standard deck (I am just missing Astalor) on 8 different collections (I have 3 Bnet accounts, which I play on each of the three different regions) to make it easier to complete quests while unlocking the Mixqueen Azshara hero portrait for each collection.

I had not made a Standard deck to play in Ranked for 8 of the F2P collections in years, so I was a bit surprised as I rotated between collections each day to get quests done in Ranked over the last week that I played nearly a 100 Ranked games without incurring a single loss.

At the moment, these accounts have gone 7-14 wins each without losing so far, which means they’re all in the process of completing the series of “On A Roll” achievements, which starts at 2 wins in a row and caps out at 12 consecutive wins.

Now, many of these consecutive wins are not determined by skill because I started playing at the lowest ranks mostly against players with bot accounts or against many new or underdeveloped accounts. I imagine that a lot of the players who are actually playing weak decks in Ranked are a part of a large influx of returning players who recently came back for the free 150 packs.

Occasionally, I do get matched against a player using a quality deck, and some of these games have been very close, but so far, my ridiculous win streak of nearly a 100 wins in a row has not been broken yet. It’s been really weird to win so much and I just wanted to share my experience with those who can appreciate the novelty of it.
