before the previous patch we had only 5 tier 1 decks

now we had 10 thats a huge improvement

If you like being dead by turn 6 sure… this meta is wonderful.

This balance patch will do very little.

The fact paladin and totem shaman have been left untouched is ridiculous

I wish they went harder on Anub and removed the armor gain entirely, but Im perfectly fine with the rest of the slight nerfs.

Thanks for the 800 dust for my brands, now I’ll have enough for another deck.

The predation nerf is…interesting. I didn’t really care that the card even did much damage, the purpose was, and is, to summon stheno and spend all the spells, and they still cost 0, so that changes little.

Big demon hunter got off easy, they could have bumped its mana cost up 1. Lowering its attack is like the frost dk nerf, so basically its NOTHING LOL.

The Anub nerf is interesting, and I don’t think the devs understand what they’ve done.

They’ve made Anub far less playable in the aggro MU, and hence, druid suffer EVEN MORE vs aggro than it already does (the extra armor is huge in getting minions out when you are on a tight budget.)

In the control MU this change makes little to no change to Anub (much easier to stack armor in control MU.)

Overall, I think they needed to do the reverse, improve druid’s aggro MU, and worsen its control MU. LOL. They’ve just increased the polarization with this deck, not great.

If you fix ZOK druid polarization you get it in the entire ladder instead of only legend.

The deck is terrible but before even start to talk about buffing it we need to be sure anub will not be here to make every single match against druid suck.

The nerf was too small. That card should be reduced to a meme if not early rotated autogether.

Is this a complaint about wild?

No. It’s more about low ranking ladder.

And sincerely paladin could really have used a preemptive nerf. Nothing too big.

Wow they really deleted Sinful Brand from the game. I won’t miss it.
Unholy DK got a sizeable hit as well as Tony Druid. Undead priest will still be very very good. The rest of the nerfs are irrelevant.

Didn’t like the Symphony buff but the rest are welcome.

But overall very little will change besides Spell DH and unholy DK and druid’s ability to fight aggro.

Seem like underwhelming changes. I dont think changing symphony to 5 mana is suddenly going to see the rise of the warlocks. On the same token changing the attack from 5 ->3 isn’t really that material when they’re killing you with the 8/8 it summons. Or messing with Basaleph when the deck is pretty much all about the 5 mana 1 sided minion AOE spell or spamming a bunch of reborn 1 drops.

I wish they decided to shake things up a bit and try to materialize some new decks rather than reduce winrate of DH deck 003 by 1.02%.

Exactly, killing spell dh, but letting paladin/dk untouched again, those small nerfs to unholy wont do much. Totem shaman is broken aswell but atleast not many plays the deck when im playing the game. Its all just dk/pala/priest in that order occasionally druid/mage. This is from (D5) standard.

There is something to be told about the buffs.

Basically the devs are in a visible way trying a new approach that we only gonna see actual results in some months.

With that said the symphony buff is the type of buff we should see more:

Buffing cards that people care to play despite of being bad.

And how you stop it from turning into a overpopulation nightmare?

You don’t do this to just one card.

Buff a key card or maybe two per patch and let things happen slowly.

I like all the nerfs especialy changing the dh spell to 1 damage feels alot better.
The only thing i am curious is the dk taunt minion might need to be a 1 2 instead of 1 3 but in all i like.

I like that a defensive taunt that heals has been bufffed very much.

I understand that paladin is very strong in the low ladder, but is totem shaman really a problem anywhere in standard?

Totem shaman is the explosive highroll type of deck.

It’s not a problem because it’s not popular but it’s easy to know why someone would want it nerf.

I personally find it a deck that creates too much non games. If it becomes more popular it will get a nerf regardless of powerlevel.
