Nothing unusual

Turn 5 , against Paladin :

His board - TWO minions with 11/13 stats (buffed minion with Braggart), one 1/2 (Wand Thief) with two 0/2 Taunts (created from W. Thief)

Such a pity I didn’t screenshoted that but what’s worse I think it’s not that uncommon now days … Nice game. Good job developers ( if someone can even call you that ) , I guess I was “outskilled”

  1. Designers designed the cards, not the devs. They coded the cards as the designers said.
  2. Always expect this kind of combo, don’t let any creatures in Libram Paladin stay on board for too long, otherwise they will get you! Learn the decks of your opponents first.

What was the first 11/13 minion?

Braggart pretty op for 2 mana. It will be nerf it deserves it, no matter the future w/r of the deck. The rest of Paladin new cards I guess they are ok.

How did he play both Blessing of Authority and Argent Braggart on turn four? Even with coin, he’d only have five mana. By turn five, you could’ve easily played Hex, Polymorph, Consume Magic, Silence, Owl, Deadly Shot, Assassinate, Coerce, Execute, Bladestorm, Shadow Word Death, Impbalming, Magehunter, Shadow Word Ruin, Subdue, Brawl, Plague Of Wrath, Plague of Flames, Plague of Murlocs, Time Rip, Conjurer’s Calling, Mass Dispel, Torrent, Dark Skies, Professor Slate, Brittlebone Destroyer, Blackjack Stunner, Sap, Wave of Apathy + Cabal Acolyte, Vaporize, Ambush, Emperor Cobra, Equality, Aldor Peacekeeper, Explosive Evolution, Freezing Trap, Hunter’s Mark, Pressure Plate, Devolving Missiles, Corruption, Earth Shock, Humility, and Plague of Madness. It’s your fault you didn’t include simple removal in your deck. 11/13 isn’t even great on turn five.

That’s why you always clear Paladin’s minions so they don’t have buff targets. So you either got really unlucky and didn’t draw removal or minions to contest the board before Turn 4, or you built your deck wrong.

For me a deck is fine if tempo can deal with it. And as people have been saying, against Paladin keep the board in check an things should go well. Yeah sometimes they can do a snowball effect or get some stupid highroll, but from my experience it hasnt been that many times, and after turn 6, almost every class should be able to do some big plays that keep things interesting.

Every class but shaman
