This expansion is really bad … don’t want to be that guy but this is the worst launch I’ve played … it legit feels rough playing this game which is sad because I love hearthstone…

The problem is the people here to complain is shrinking because the game is shrinking… maybe because they keep putting out bad expansion, idk.

Tried a few decks out so far and have been getting curb stomped constantly….
I think this is just a natural result of where the game has been heading for years. People somehow for some reason, keep giving Blizz money lol…the only time I ever spent money on the game was the first couple years of Hearthstone (and it was not much). Once Benjamin Brodeheim left and we could see the direction the game was heading in…that was the cue to stop giving them money/supporting their decisions. But too many people I guess are addicts or sunk cost fallacied or maybe they even genuinely enjoy the game they spend countless dollars on, idk.

I do agree with you that people complain about silly things all the time on here which I tried to avoid myself.I legitimately do think this launch has been extremely rough compared to others.
Take a break if this cancer meta is getting to you! I wish they still had duels. That’s the one mode I actually enjoyed.

Post got deleted for pointing this out, but with this expansion it feels like they took everything they nerfed for being unfun to play against and put it into a single expansion.
For example, why does Lamplighter exist when Hunter had a similar deck that had to be nerfed into the ground?

Like wise I got my post/thread deleted for saying this was an awful set and resulting meta. Looks like there’s a pattern, haven’t seen people have posts be banned for critiquing a meta before.

Might have something to do with posts in general being less of a constructive critique or breakdown of the new set, and more of a platform for outright negativity aimed at blizz employees. Its one thing to suggest there wasnt enough playtesting from the devs to explain why you think XYX is like blank, its another to just plainly state that the devs need to be fired and Microsoft should get a refund for buying Activision Blizzard. If the posts lean toward the former, they tend to stay and gather no further attention from mods. If they lean towards the latter, well thats just them enforcing the Code of Conduct and TOS we all agreed to already. Its fine to have an opinion, but thats just a bone that can be picked. Without any meat on that bone getting picked, its easily discarded as griefer thread (see: Threads being made over and over again about the same gripe that has no viable path for a discussion to be had, such as someone making a bunch of alts to make a thread titled “Unban user ________” many times over. Or when a launch of new expansion hits and many threads are made that are usually one sentence long and just goes “This sucks and i hate it” without any actual substance to the post.)

I’ve tried multiple decks and no luck… I’ve had games end by turn 3 which is absolutely insane to me…pain lock is nutty … charge dh is annoying to play against. Why is charge even a thing in the first place.Also zillax in that warrior deck that keeps reviving is very frustrating… like I said I don’t wanna sound like I’m whining… just a lot of feelsbad decks so far… no matter, love this game and will continue to play… hopefully some of these things get addressed.

I had effectively no wins in standard until I started spamming dirty rats and bayfin bodybuilders. Games gotten so many toxic minions that i’ve had to go Lorenzo’s oil on this one. I’ve seen the light, all minions are impure. All must be purged

Keeping on topic I’ve been having what little fun there is to be had in hearthstone with a big spell elemental mage.
There are interesting decks crying to be released from the lamplighter/hydration station suffocation

Turn 3 happens with a highroll.
Go look on Reddit what some turn 1 and turn 2 looks like. No way to recover from those highrolls. Turn 3 boards right now can be absolutely busted.

I gonna say this. I been pissed at the devs for a long time. But this expansion is by far the best i have ever seen. All classes have viable decks in legend. This has never happend in the history of me playing the game.
All matches serm interactive and fun outside of playing against warrior.
Honestly I as much as i hate warrior if they dont change warrior and it leaves the game in the state it is now im ok with that.
If they can find a way to fix warrior without throwing the game out of the state it is in rigjt now then please nerf them. Otherwise just leave everything how it is. This game is in the best state I have ever seen right now.
