I started playing Classic today to try and get to Legendary this season on Classic. I’ve noticed that I’m not getting my win streak bonus though. I’m currently ranked Silver 6 with an 8 win streak and so far I’m not getting win streak stars.
I think the win streak bonus amount is tied to your previous month rank.
So, since you just started playing, you don’t have that.
That could well be. At least all the bots are easy to farm. Man Classic Mode is a lousy with them. Currently at 17 consecutive wins and counting.
Are we talking about a ‘win streak bonus’ or about ‘bonus stars’? The latter might indeed be absent after inactivity. The former means that after a few wins in a row (2 or 3, I think) you get double stars — including the bonus ones, but it’s no logner there after Diamond 5, if I understand it correctly.

Like above mentioned, winstreak bouns (2 stars, after wining 3 consecutive wins) will always applies until Diamond 5.
Sorry for dead posting. Have 8x winstreak and right now at Diamond 6. In the last games sometimes I got WS bonus, sometimes I didn’t. I thought you don’t get WS bonus only after Diamond 5… Last game I thought I’d get to Dimond 5 with the help of the bonus but it didn’t happen:( Is it possible to check my rank progression with stars in hs replay or anywhere else?
