There is an issues with the 500 wins and becoming a golden hero it won’t change to a golden one and the 1000 wins won’t let me switch to the new hero icon. Also now when I win a game with said hero the game freezes and I have to reset the game to continue.

I am having the same issue. Every win after 500 I still get stuck at the end game view.
I just realized you claim it through the achievement page now! Try that
