[Not a bug/Solved] Sauna regular + Power Chord: Synchronize

Coping a 0 mana Sauna Regular using Powerd Chord: Synchronize adds a 1 mana copy to your hand.

After bringing down the mana cost of Sauna Regular to 0 by taking damage on my turn. Then playing the card and then coping it with Powerd Chord: Synchronize, a 1 mana cost Sauna Regular was added to my hand.

I do believe copies that are added to your hand that cost 0 cost 1 instead, ever since Echo was problematic.

Whenever you generate a in-hand copy of an on-board minion, it will not keep enchantment such as stats buffs or cost reduction
That’s how the game has been designed

I am not wrong
The cards you are giving as examples are not enchanted, it’s their very own effect that is in action
If they retained “enchantments” it would double their effect
Thirsty Drifter’s cost reduction is reset open going back in hand. Then its effect reduced it again
Lamplighter does the same and checks the condition
It would behave the same if you discovered them completely, they would not start from base values

I do believe sauna regular uses the same style of check as drifter, it doesn’t say while in hand.
Maybe you reduce 1 mana from it by a different effect such as either player having a Griftah choosing the discount amulet(Even a phony would reduce the cost of all minions in hand and could have been 1 of his reduction) do you have a replay you(or we) can check and verify?

You’re right that’s the same type of check mb
Could still be an issue of the card benefiting from another cost reduction that would not have been kept gor the copy, which would be the correct behavior
But yes looks pretty easy to test out if there’s an obvious bug or if it could have been a misscomprehension of the mechanics

I ran some tests against the innkeeper and couldn’t reproduce the issue. This time using Powerd Chord: Synchronize added a 0 cost Sauna Regular to my hand.

So as Derkan pointed out, maybe the cost of the first Sauna Regular was affected by something else that I was unaware of.
