In recent game of Battlegrounds I was playing Rafam. I had little rag and Chef Nomi. No matter how many elementals I played they did not get the 1/1 buff in the tavern. This is the first game that this has happened.

Came here to report the same bug, I was playing as Edwin and had a Chief Nomi in board, I started playing elementals while a Crackling Cyclone was in the shop, both Nomi and the Cyclone were having trigger animations, but the Cyclone didn’t receive any buffs. I bought the Cyclone anyways and refreshed the shop, just to notice that all the other elementals there received the Nomi buffs normally.

This happened to me as well, two games in a row…
This happened to me as well. I was playing as Maiev and had the Wildfire Elemental dormant with my hero power. I played Nomi and played two elementals and the Crackling Cyclone was not receiving the buff in the shop after two elemental plays, but was getting the animation. I purchased it hoping the buffs were just not showing in the shop but it was still unbuffed on my board. Once the shop was refreshed the next turn other elementals that were in the shop did get the buff. When I received the Wildfire Elemental from my hero power it did receive all the buffs.

I had this same issue in two games. I had Nomi, Kitchen Nightmare on my board, with Crackling Cyclone in Bob’s tavern. I played Arcane Assistant but the Crackling Cyclone in the tavern did not receive any increase to its power or toughness.
Same things just happened to me a few minutes ago. It was an annoying 8th place.
Not sure if these details will be of use, but I was playing as Al’Akir, level 4, at or around the 9-10 gold turn. My board state was:
Tidehunter (buffed with poison), Selfless Hero, Highmane, CHEF NOMI, Party Elemental, and Garr (from a Zerus). In one turn I bought 2x Sellemental, played and sold both and their tokens, then ended on a Molten Rock.
I lost the next round, my molten rock was only a 3/4 (it got 1 buff from the Party Elemental, nothing from Nomi).
Happened to me yesterday aswell and my first game today same thing happened except from it not buffing the turn i played nomi then 3 elementals in one turn. But the turn after that it worked like it should.
I’ve had this issue for days and it’s driving me nuts - losing games because of this bug frequently. Please do resolve this one pretty quickly - it can make or break games.
Example of the issue to be reproduced:
Roll into a tavern shop containing Nomi and X Elemental minions (X here represents any number between one and six).
Buy and play Nomi but do NOT refresh the tavern shop.
With Nomi now in play, play any Elemental minions from any source.
Nomi’s effect activates and its animation plays, but the X Elemental minions currently in the tavern shop are NOT buffed. (Buying and playing one of the un-buffed X Elemental minions from this shop does not affect its stats - that is to say the buff does not suddenly appear correctly once the minion is played - the Nomi buff is never applied to these minions.)
Refreshing the tavern shop reveals that the effect of Nomi has indeed been activating and buffing other Elemental minions appropriately, but not those that were specifically in the INITIAL shop that existed when Nomi was played.
Same bug happened to me so I came here to report it… and it turn out there was already a thread about this. I grabbed a clip of the bug when it happened, maybe it will help a dev fix it.
I don’t have screenshots, but had the same issue with Nomi while playing as Millhouse. Would appreciate a quick fix, thanks!
Hi, same here with Tess when using her hero power to get someone’s Nomi card!
Similar problem. After purchasing Nomi from the tavern and placing it on the board, the subsequent placement of elementals does not increase characteristics of the elementals in the tavern. This happens if you do not update the tavern after purchasing the nomi.
Still losing games because of this bug. Whatever tavern shop exists when Nomi is played will NOT be buffed by Nomi. Please resolve.
This bug just happened to me.
I played the elemental that adds a frozen minion to Bob’s Tavern and then played several elementals with Nomi. Nomi didn’t give the frozen elemental (the 2/3 taunt one) the +1/+1 buff from the elementals I played.
i had bought naomi and after 6 elementals no buff applied
Happened to me as well and it is annoying as hell.
If battlegrounds is gonna revolve around Jandice getting 2 pogos, and everyone else tier hopping as fast as they can do so-- to tavern 5 to get lil’ rag and Nomi then can we make sure they work and not troll us out of wins. TEMPO is everything, and missing 3-4 1/1 buffs on a minion is crucial.

the same thing on me , that’s a very bad experience, i almost lost the game by that bug.
