No mechs in mage Core

I’ve already offered several observations.

Based on this very thread though, you’ve proven that you’re only here to complain.

Thank you Orion. So what do you see in terms of mage?
I fully expected to see Snowchugger.
Almost every streamer predicted it with a powerful mech mage deck, and now I wonder what We will see instead?

Naga Mage , Mech Mage,Big Spell Mage and the Amulet version all meta decks.
Im going to be very surprised if Naga Mage doesnt fill this forums with hate topics the deck will be that good.

I question whether mech mage will be as powerful as others predicted with no class cards.
I can totally see players running hybrid decks though.
What do you think?

in case you got confused by the name

gorilabot isnt a beast

Mech Mage could be a good core for Big Spell or Amulet Mage, given that the Mechs require no spells for synergy like the Naga and the overall Big Spell package is flpretty small. Especially if you go Amulet.

I’m still not sold on Rune/Tower n such, so an Amulet/Balinda/Pyroblast package operating on top of Mechs could be a good way to go since we’re losing some of the good early combat minions in the deck as it is.

Mage will play its Mechs discounted and we all know 1 mana makes or breaks a card.
Common · Minion · Voyage to the Sunken City · After you summon a Mech, deal 3 damage randomly split among all enemies.
This card is crazy play a bunch of mechs and gg.

I looked at wild mech mage: aren’t they all pretty bad compared to the new ones?
Even if they were core, I don’t think they would be played; I prefer kalecgos than the leviatan :joy:

Thank you, Drum. This is precisely the conversation I was looking for.
I think that a hybrid deck that doesn’t run just one theme might be the way to go.

I just wish you could piece together some of these thoughts instead of having to complain and ask everyone else to do the thinking.

The packages available to the classes are fairly obvious in terms of scope and synergy. The question then becomes how they go about doing what they want to do, how they end games, and whether or not they require a full deck’s support, or can thread together without causing disruption.

I think Naga Mage will be a standalone deck, if not possibly hybridized with Hero Power stuff, since Nagas love cheap spells to maximize the spell/Naga weaving.

I know that my first two Mage decks with be Naga w/ Ping, and Amulet with possibly Mechs under it.

Not everyone plays games the way you and others have, and asking questions is rather the point, wouldn’t you say?
I might very well not be the only person who values a more expert opinion.

this sounds really promising

"No Mechs in Mage Core. Guess Mech Mage is doomed to fail."

Literally nothing else said.

How does this come across to you?

Asking for opinions on how certain packages might come together is PRETTY DIFFERENT from the flat-out doomsaying you engage in.

Because that’s how it works. I have a narrative and you accept it or you are wrong. I don’t need facts or for it to actually be true, I just need to shout it enough that you believe it… eventually… maybe.

This is the time for Mage havent seen this much support in over 4 years for the class.
Everything is falling in place for the class.

6 mana spell baby finaly have Blizzard back, if only Zilliax and Meteor made a return it would have been perfect.

Early xmas for Mages.

It comes across as someone who only has the opinions of streamers and Forum players to go on.
Everyone said that mage would be running a Snowchugger mech deck.
What was I supposed to think?

Mallenroh is bound and determined to hold on to his victim complex and moan about mage every opportunity. I have no idea why someone would choose to soley play one class. Even f2p you should be able to at least play 2 or 3 classes. He’d be better off if he actually had a little variety and wouldn’t be hit as hard by mage nerds if he had other options.

Don’t talk about it. It hurts too much.

I’ve seen like two people say that, at most. Folks were hoping for Snowchugger, but we got plenty of other good things as well.

The fact that you can’t tell the difference between “WELL I GUESS WE’RE JUST SCREWED” and “How do you guys think this archtype will play out” is absolutely baffling.

I am trying to play Hunter some, and it looks really powerful yet again.
I am a slow learner and it’s not as easy for me to embrace new things as you younger bucks. it has taken eight years of mage to become even somewhat proficient.
So; Wish me luck…

Good luck my dude. Not trying to be too harsh but having another class or two would do you a world of good.

If you want an easy point-and-shoot class, you’re definitely on the right track.

Learn to be HAPPY when you can do what you want with other classes. Hearthstone is best enjoyed when taken as a game of variety.
