No daily or weekly quests since 19.0

Hi,

I haven’t received any daily or weekly quests since the update on Nov 11th. I can’t properly progress my game. My quest tab is blank:

I am a returning player on the EU server. This issue only exists on the EU server, I got quests on America na Asia servers.

I issued a ticket to the support 3 days ago, it remains unanswered: EU74681652.
I would appreciate any response to my ticket or acknowledgment of this problem.

On Dec 5th the bug was finally fixed!

Sorry to disappoint you but I received a response on my ticket for the exact same problem this is what they said:

“This is Game Master Strybur. Thanks for reaching out to us in regards to the missing Hearthstone quests. If it is in regards to the weekly quest not showing up, that was a known issue that has since been hotfixed; therefore, that one may already have been resolved. If it’s missing daily quests that one is in a slightly different boat. Even though we don’t have any confirmed known issues in regards to missing daily quests showing up in Hearthstone, there are reports that the team is investigation as well. It’s just that until they can figure out exactly what is causing the issue, they are unable to confirm there is a known issue and start working towards a resolution or a workaround that might be available to populate the daily quest.”

That was the first response saying they don’t recognize an issue with our accounts.

And this is the second response I got saying basically the same thing:

"Specialist Game Master Rotonina here and First, I want to thank you, Recently the number of tickets has gone up substantially and we appreciate your patience while we got this looked into. : )

I was just going over the tickets here and I’m so sorry to hear your having issues Hearthstone quests here, I am happy to check this out.

Looking into this I was unable to find any issues or bugs that would prevent you from getting any new quests, You can have up to three quests active at one time which will remain until one of the three quests are completed. Once you complete a quest, a new quest is automatically provided at the same time the next day—this may change when Hearthstone servers are under maintenance."

Unfortunately not much we can do except keep complaining it seems.

Obviously the problem with the weekly quests isn’t solved yet for everyone, Blizzard. There is this theory going around that it might be a problem for returning players, but I’m not a returning player and I haven’t received new weekly quests either. Please fix it.

Returning player, no weekly or daily quests after 3 duels quests, the quest tab is completly blank without „daily quets” or „weekly quests” labels, raised it on a few other threads, standard methods like changing password, language or region haven’t solved the issue. It’s quite frustrating, especially after reading article from hearthstone decks on Twitter where they show that quests can give up to 210 000 exp per month - yes, that’s what we are missing right now and stay behind all other “non-returning” players.

To sum up:
WHAT A GREAT INCENTIVE BLIZZARD GAVE US TO RETURN TO PLAYING HS!

Ya, it’s really annoying. My quest log is STILL completely blank and I’m still only level 7 since quests seem to be the main source of xp and progression in the new system.

I like how they say it is not a confirmed known issue as if it is a small bug after they remove the other gold sources from the game

Same here, returning player after a while not playing, no daily or weekly quests appear since I got the update.

Also my deck slots say I have unlocked 18/10 and I can’t add or delete decks, it says “you must unlock all heroes first” but I did in the past and don’t see any place to do it again…

You may need to unlock the Demon Hunter class by playing through the prologue of the Ashes of Outland solo missions. I’m not sure though I don’t have that problem

Same thing, but in reversed regions. No quests for me on NA, while on EU I get them in a regular fashion.

Just like Gadizzle mentioned - you must unlock Demon Hunter. I had the same problem.

As for my quest problem, it still persists, no quests since 11th. Also, my ticket still remains unanswered :smiley:

I got my third reply on my ticket this morning and once again they assumed I was talking about a different bug (the one where people may not be receiving their weekly quest when their timer says it should).

So I tried to make it very clear that these are two separate issues by linking this thread and also screenshots of my COMPLETELY BLANK quest log. Not sure what to expect at this point.

I’m GM Layhcrum, thank you for your patience while I was reaching you and your ticket, with the Shadowlands release on the 23rd/24th, Overwatch Halloween Event and Call of Duty season 6 active, this has made us exceptionally busy.

I can see you have some concerns about the change to the reward system and that it removed some quests you was progressing on, sorry to hear this happened to you.

Due to how hearthstone works I am afraid we dont have access to check or confirm quests you had or completion. I would recommend posting your experiences on the hearthstone forums as the developers are taking feedback about how the changes are being received. https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/hearthstone/

I think they just have a reading comprehension problem,
I replied with a more verbose response of the issue we actually face.
