No complaints about Demon Seed?

I was shocked to see that there seem like 0 topics about Demon Seed Warlock?

What about some balance? This seems completely crazy to me, nobody doing anything about it? Nobody complains? Because Im about to quit the game for a while this is nuts

i dont like it, and when i can, i just concede and let them have their win

Same here. Just might as well end the game in 1 second than wait to lose in 5 minutes (if that).

i beat one once with questline paladin, but it was ā€œoh my yoggā€ that saved me

Maybe because its the card that has seen the most balance changes in the history of the game.
After so many times of it breaking the game people just got desensitized to it and accepted the card will never be balanced.

I donā€™t mind it too much. I usuallly beat them with Even DK and Even Hunter.
But I can see the frustration if you play a slow deck against it.

Thatā€™s like saying thereā€™s no complaints about cost of living and inflation. Of course there are, and of course there wereā€¦but at this point people are too beaten and broken to talk about it anymore thatā€™s why thereā€™s relative silence.

I used to be super vocal when it was like counterless and had like literal 95% wrs against previous old control decks that didnt otk the v1 version by t5.

But now its been a couple years and new decks. Yup its definitely strong for sure and it might wibble wobble pretty high or low.

But you can at least get games it lives to t8 and push it to protect itself without insta dying t6 to a 30 dmg imp combo.

Ex: (Apothecary imp v1 otk: 3 mana 5/5: Deal 5 dmg per minion summoned while active. Raise dead + 2 crystalizer + imp. =30 dmg. Often active t6-7 otk)

Now it wibble wobbles. Its definitely strong. It floods boards, takes damage, regenerates hps and uses broomsticks to trade with rush giants and resets itā€™s health with the new taunt.

Its strong but its not unbeatably stormwind v0.1 stupid. I donā€™t take current offence to the gameplay. My current deck seems to be able to have a lot of strong interaction trading and fighting for board/hp with it. But lets not bring turbo otk in hand v0.1 seedlock back imho.

You could probably mess around with mage a little. Say. What about a 13-15 dmg pyroblast? Then again that might be itā€™s own can of worms with iceblock pyroblast iceblock pyroblast. So maybe not a good idea.

I feel like thereā€™s lots of indirect ways to ā€˜tune itā€™ with stuff though. Faster aggro could make it sweat, but dice us up.

Touching itā€™s healing could chip away a lil. Thereā€™s a wildcard of 2-16 hp but anywhere from -1-2 hp a card might be safer to nibble away at. Its hard to tell how long itā€™ll be in the sunlight. But healdmg soakers can be feast or famine decks like ow2 roadhog. Before Mauga he was one of the strongest for a patch tanks with his oneshot trap hook back and better healing.

Then he turned into a giant bullet sponge against a bullet sponge with lifeleech who damaged him while regenerating 70% to full.

Hogs ult can beat Maugaā€™s ult in the ult duel 1:1 easily though. But keeping a monitoring eye on things is fair. Only slow semi meta decks i can think of in wild are odin war /highlander shamans though.

You just need to check the other forums
Right now you can find 3 demon seed topics in community discussion
Although 2 are from the same user that only throws garbage topics every time they lose to something they donā€™t like, only to never read the replies

Ahh. So just the normal hearthstonf fourms! :joy:

I have posted about Wild warlock in the past. Itā€™s depraved.

Demon seed beats any late game strategy, but itā€™s not immune to aggression anymore. I tried some wild this month and naga priest kicks its teeth in. Itā€™s like 80 - 20 in favor of the naga priest if you run the nathria list from a couple years ago and know how to pilot the deck.

Half the forum just stops reading there

I donā€™t see why they would? How many late game strategies can live long enough to win against the damage it puts out? it finishes its quest by turn 6 or 7, then plays so many manufacturing errors, crystallizers, play deads, etc etc that the scaling damage becomes insurmountable. Anything that beats it has a clock, and you arenā€™t going past turn 9 or 10 against it. The only card that can prevent the incoming damage from hitting lethal on your turn is ice block, and any mage running that is out to kill you. One way or another one of you is gonna be dead before long.

I canā€™t stand Demon Seed or Shadow Priest. Both are played wayy too much in wild.

If you are really concerned about a wild deck, maybe you should just concede and move on.

I think itā€™s hilarious that anyone takes wild seriously. Itā€™s just broken insanity hyperaggro at any sort of competitive ranks. Itā€™s not even a fun game after you rank up a bit.

Of all the forums Iā€™ve frequented this one is the most insightful on human nature lol

Iā€™m looking at this deck and itā€™s not all wild lol

Meaning I donā€™t know that 1 card matters when theyā€™re all cheap and most carry over to ranked builds based on this

The quest is wild, so you can no longer play it in standard.

The quest was massively nerfed, several support cards have been hard nerfed, and itā€™s just not as bad as it was when they released it to standard.

It was completely banned in wild while it was playable in the standard pool. It was too fast for aggro and control. It was basically unstoppable in wild on release.

the new version using certain new mini-set cards is basically unstoppable, I wouldnā€™t be surprised if they just full ban the questline in wild again.
