Next time a "mage main" whines they don't have cards

They got an “Event” card that almost exclusively benefits them; they shouldn’t even make Event cards that benefit people in a lopsided way; Event cards should be fun to most.

Why do people even “main” classes; it’s not World of Warcraft; it’s not like you have to grind for gear to go to a raid or anything.

what card are you talking about?

It benefits many builds.

I honestly believe renathal could benefit pretty much every class if people wanted to make it work

I dont have proof, but if I made a 72% winrate homebrew version of bsm mage (while having a mediocre 52% on BSM), then probably anything could work.

People just took mage because its fun and easy to build (you already know all the core cards and fot a change, you dont have to choose between multiple of them, you can just take all)

Im gonna try make a renathal sludgelock today so i guess we ll see xd

what really angers me about the new expansion is they made fire spell support for mage and didnt give them a draw spell for fire spells

Good luck making it work on a refined fast deck. Try to improve your pain lock for example since you say you’re a lock expert.

Some pain lock cards are better than others and it doesn’t necessarily need to survive slower decks’ damage.

they did give them Supernova though which is a cool card.

my wild demon seed lock runs Renathal but I know it’s probably worse than a 30 card version. It is kind of nice being able to play molten giants for free at 18 health instead of 8 health though, but Infernal!!! and Dark Pacts fix that for 30 card versions.

When was the last time a mage player made a post complaining they don’t have cards?
I haven’t written anything even close to that in well over a year, and I don’t recall seeing another thread complaining of that.
And what card are you referring to?

Because it isn’t “fire spell” it is just an elemental deck with extra steps.

People will take the new elemental card draw put unchained gladiator in the trash bin and ignore the rest of the set as the trash it is.

yeah, I thought much the same. The cards I saw don’t look like they make a viable burn deck for my/our class.

why is this post blurred out? and the CheezusCrust 2 above it has words blurred out too, why?

Because those blurred parts of a post are spoilers about the cards from the leaked expansion, and some people don’t like spoilers

you have no idea what your talking about, clearly

Whenever I face any Renathal deck with my 30-card Seedlock, I think of it as a free win. Renathal just makes any deck more inconsistent and the 10 extra life don’t matter much, the kill turn almost always has more than 10 damage overkill available.

He might be more impactful in Standard, where the aggressive decks aren’t as fast.

Look…

Everything there only works in a elemental deck.

And for a elemental deck someone have to be really disconnected with reality to think that suffle extra cards that aren’t atleast cast when draw is a good thing.

Also only elementals get +1 fire spell damage, 2 of 3 new fire spells only work with elementals.

It really does not matter if the card says “fire spell” at this point.

This is just blizzard trying to make the deck less one dimensional and failing before even trying because most stuff there suck and the so called “INCREDIBLE OVERPOWERED DRAW” is fair at best.

This is just a elemental deck support with extra steps so dumb people think they’re playing something different.

And i would not even be against that if most of they weren’t outright so bad that you’re better off playing a lamplighter deck.

Also here is me telling what to do with an elemental deck after the set launches:

Summary

-2 unchained gladiator
+2 Blazing accretion

There is many points on this entire thing that blizzard knows that not work and knows because they’re things already tried that did not work in times where the power level was lower.

Was i clear enough?

just looking at the cards, I noticed, along with Orion, that there is no draw for fire. That handicaps these cards just to elementals, if I am any judge.

The draw is decent actually. Probably the only thing there seeing actual play because it not has a dumb in game setup.

It is just that the entire thing is so convoluted in play compared to a normal hearthstone deck that you know it does not work just from looking.

The draw IS decent. But, it isn’t good for just any deck.
It works for elementals, yes, but there is nothing for any Wild deck that doesn’t already exist in a better form.
As usual. I didn’t look at other classes, but I’ll bet some of them got card draw that is universal in terms of what decks can make use of them. Mage only ever gets situational and limited cards.

Most stuff there will end getting later buffs when it does not work and people does a surprised pikachu face like they didn’t know.

That to barely see play on standard.
