Next cancer of the meta

So dekkster just made a deck and posted a video on it. I tested the deck and its 50% meme and 50% good. Its way more reliable than i thought it would be when i saw the video.

Basically you play Paladin. 30 card deck. A bunch of one drops. Trogg for annoy, peasant for some draw, sinfoul cheff just to have some more stall, and some more.

The keycards is as the other decks order in court. You run 2 of them and 2 Stonhearth that will always draw you order in the court as its the only spell in the deck. You want to use order of the court on turn 3 and that happend atleast to me in 70% of the games. Maybe i was lucky not sure but it seems very reliable since you are a 30 card deck and 4 cards will give you the order in the court.

Top mana cards in the deck is jailer, drawn on turn 3. Next turn you draw Kaelthas. And on turn 5 you draw the weapon and swing it.

Turn 6 you play 2 one drops ( need to make sure you have these before using order in the court). You then swing the weapon which pulls out Kaelthas. And jailer is then free to play and at turn 6 voila you have a Jailer board.

You have also drawn a copy of give minions +1/1 that you can use same turn.

You also run the 2 cost card gankster 4/2 that attacks after opponents summon a minion which is very toxic when its immune.

At turn 8 or 9 opponent is dead but most just concede.

I tried it 10 times and surely if they put too much pressure you are dead.

But i predict this a deck all the people who love to play annoying decks going to play in the near future.

I hate it and think something should be done :stuck_out_tongue:

I faced a deck with this going off turn 5 as you said. Was quite obnoxious, not much you can do as an opponent that early in the game.

Reminds me of switcheroo priest, but maybe more consistent than switcheroo since you can technically pop off this combo anytime after you rearrange your deck.

Anyhow, if this sees even a slight amount of play, like switcheroo priest, it will be insta nerfed.

Looks toxic. However, Hunter has a 60% WR right now. I’d like to see that looked at sooner than later.

Nice idea, I will try it

I’m surprised he isn’t running the countess. The deck goes all in on its early jailer game plan. It looks like it has a very polarizing matchup spread. It’ll probably destroy a ton of classes outright, but mage and priest would just make it cry. The jailer’s weakness is “blind” hard removal, and priest has shadow word: ruin, clean the scenes, and whirlpool which all fit the bill. Meanwhile mage has freeze effects, armor gain, and mass polymorph, and with objection, counterspell, and okani they’re capable of just making the jailer “poof” without it ever taking effect.

It looks like it’s either going to destroy its opponent, or get destroyed in turn. Feels very lopsided.

It’s a fun deck, but way too slow. Hunter destroys it.

Also this. I’m pretty sure hunter is faster than this deck, so by the time the jailer comes down hunter is gonna be pushing for lethal. So like I said… very polarizing matchup spread. Doesn’t feel like a major meta contender when its counters are as popular as they are.

The deck also tutors its win condition with order in the court. Do you remember what happened when druid played coldtooth mines to tutor denathrius? As soon as you play order in the court you’re putting up a huge flashin neon sign that says THEOTOR ME NOW!! You’re literally telling your opponent exactly when you drew the jailer. That strategy is highly susceptible to disruption, and Theotor is everywhere right now.

Its not easy though to always have your Theo ready everytime before turn 6.

Even easier would be to kill their weapon. But the people who will be playing these kinds of decks they dont care about win percentage or losses. Its a troll deck. Just boring for people who try to play a somewhat honest game.

this deck is really bad. so many counters it almost never works in high ranks
