The bright side is that this cannot proc off of 0-cost cards, so there’s no infinite chaining to be done.

So paladin gets really tiny version of survival of the fittest, a better violet teacher, and a rush legendary in a class that hasn’t had many rushes
…but they’re all in the 4 slot, which on one hand makes the slot bloated, but on the other that’s more ways to corrupt day at the faire
Dude, at max, this only copies the spell ONCE. It cannot chain infinitely.
none of them are shadow spells, you can check in the database if a card is a shadow spell or not
If you have a way to increase your spell costs it can chain more than once, but definitely not infinitely.

You can’t actually check in the database yet, unless the card is in the Core or FitB, because they haven’t added the spell school labels for any of the rest yet.
But Soulfire is confirmed as Fire school via Twitter:
Unless they create a Shadow Spell that hurts you as well, in that case you can combo it with Darkglare. I mean, your life’s the limit then of course, but that shouldn’t be a problem for any Darkglare-using Warlock.
I mean that if a spell’s cost is increased this will let you chain them. Or at least it should since other cards that chack cost look at what it cost when played.
The only way I can think of is to trick your opponent into playing a cult neophyte. The 0 mana spells would cost one so you’d get a new one each time.
The only way to do that is to use Treachery on a Doomed Apprentice, provided you got some free mana floating around. (And before anyone points out that Doomed Apprentice is a Mage card, Warlock can pull it with Kabal Courier.) Even so, the huge problem you have there is now you are trying to turn a minion with a card denial effect into a combo piece, and now you are just asking for stuff to blow up in your face. Basically, the more cards you have to rely on to pull off a combo, the more difficult it is.
paladin gets a card that summons a 2/2 with lifesteal whenever you play a holy spells too
and librams will be holy spells
A decent chunk of secrets are too, which are 1 mana, and can potentially made to cost zero.
its not just one spell. its as much spell you can cast while the minion is alive.
Yes, you can cast multiple spells and each spell will get a copy back for 0, so it’s better and more flexible than Electra and Stalladris in generating extra spells, but limited to Shadow spells only.
However if most Shadow spells are board clears it might make getting value out of Tasmin awkward, due to her 3 health.
Yeah. I think the card might be really good in one expansion. Its seems the devs always plan ahead, like for instance, Lothraxion was a decent legendary during madness, but the archetype dude pally is only receiving support now . I think some deck like secret pally and shadow warlock may get better later, even if they lack cards right now.
All on the single-target removal is Shadow too, just about.
