Right now, Paladin has no real way to get lackeys aside from a lazy neutral. The new lackey would be amazing for prelate support.

During the AMA, in reference to EVIL Totem, they specifically mentioned both Warlock and Shaman as having Lackey build-arounds in Uldum, so it seems pretty likely that one of the remaining warlock cards will be a lackey generator.
basically Quest rouge w/ not bounce affects. I wonder tho now. Are lacks set as 4/4 in the hand, or once they hit the board. Cause if it in hand, buffin’ becomes slightly more viable in warlock , but if oncethey get play it’s a after thought when they get weak enough to sac for the 5/5 demon.
It just says they’re 4/4, doesn’t specify a location. That tells me you could have lackeys on the board and when you play this they become 4/4s.
Why is it tied to lackeys, my god. Of all things to expect UGH.
I mean if it’s not gonna be in this set, the last one will probabley have this card printed:
4 mana spell, add 3 random lackeys to your hand. Which would help this obvious synergy needed legendary.
Just when I was accepting specific legendarys for Discard, like Jeklik. I really didn’t want a legendary who’s only purpose will be used with Lackeys. Saved some dust atleast. Until they show us the spell adding a bunch of lackeys to hand.
it say rest of the game, like the rouge quest. which did make the cards 4/4 in hand on rouge, which is why i’m wondering.

The Warlock Legendary seems a bit underwhelming compared to what Quest Rogue was. Maybe there is a Warlock card that makes every card a Lackey… that would be sick.

your saying just when they are play, i am saying even when in hand and want to know if they keep buffs pass the 4/4’s or they are stuck, i honestly never done buff in quest rouge to see if they get to keep buffs before they are play.

No, I’m saying when you play Pharoah that they become 4/4s nomatter where they are. In your hand, they become 4/4s. In your deck (if they make it in there somehow) they become 4/4s.
As far as keeping buffs, I do not know.
I’m guessing there’s going to be another Lackey generator for Warlock, as it seems every EVIL class is getting one. With that assumption in mind, this card just makes Lackey-based Carpet Zoolock seem more legit. 1 mana 4/4s with strong Battlecry abilities? Yes please.
I see a lot of people raising the issue of a lack of lackeys (lol) for warlock to take advantage of this. It’s worth asking how many lackeys need to get this buff before you feel like you got your mana/cards’ worth out of this thing? If merely 2 lackeys wind up being 4/4s instead of 1/1s, that’s +6/+6 in stats that this card gave you.
I think a lot of people are too focused on how old Quest Rogue had to really tailor it’s deck to completing the quest to get value. A zoo deck is running lackey generators anyway, you’re not being asked to dramatically weaken your deck overall to try and achieve this affect. You just have to draw this and find a turn to play it. It takes up just 1 card slot vs all the bounce you needed to run in Quest Rogue.
You don’t need to generate enough lackeys to only play 4/4s for the rest of the game for this thing to have done its job.

Cause this might bring the RR Warlock become slightly better now they can make lacks to rush in charge and buff rest the minion making the powerhouse warlock can get in hand.
They ought to be 4/4s as soon as you generate them in hand. It’s the same wording as Crystal Core from the rogue Quest and that changed your minions in hand to be 4/4 once it was played.
With the rogue quest, they actually made it so the cards updated everywhere, on board, in hand and in deck. I am guessing this will act the same.
doesn’t answer if it prema set till play for buffs, or if you can start buffing inthe hand after they are 4/4’s so you know if it worth the buffing setup to add more value
