Man, healthstone seems crazy. Especially at 0 cost. Making it tradeable too is a nice touch… definitely alleviates the downside for pain lock for sure.

I wish the devs would just kill painlock. Its forever going to dominate wild because its a broken mess and has been for over a year. Leaves hardly any room for new decks to be played. The fact they gave painlock more support shows these devs are completely clueless.

Crazily bad.

You don’t want a card slotting your hand while it can only serve as an 1-mana cycle or a conditional heal. It’s a waste of an include.

Warlock’s set looks fun, but weak.

I like K’ara, but beyond that the rest seem like filler for something that has no legs to stand on to allow filler see play.

There is no good pay-off for this Demon archetype.

Health stone looks like a really good card that probably won’t see play in the near future. It seems like a card that can hedge against dropping your health too low in one turn, that might seem like it might fit painlock, but it doesn’t.

It fits fatigue much better. At the very least it’s another tool to allow you to play insanity as long as the insanity doesn’t kill you. More likely, there is some crazy combo that awaits discovering.

No, what does the deck do?

Aggro painlock might actually not want healthstone, since it’s aggro and might not want to run a card that adds zero board or help remove board or do burn damage etc.

A slower painlock though might. Maybe a deck that uses the legendary that spawns 8/8 taunt with DR.

Potential new slower lock decks that want to use some self damage cards could also use it.

Insanity lock could also use it to survive while it setups the eventual burn, if one feels like the weapon and whatever else it uses now isn’t enough healing.

Semi related: the neutral Kil’jaden… the random demons can come from all classes?

If so then it can give you archimonde, which obviously would be a good threat.

Shame none of the demons have deathrattles to give another option outside of the current deathrattle demons (to support felfire manacheat)… Mabye kiljaeden with archimonde is enough to take demon warlock over the hump but I doubt it. The warlock demon synergy is minimal and awkward. They need to add some cards like aqua archivist / raging felscreamer on top of infernal stratagem for some non tempo loss curve manipulation.

Good combo cards, making a mid-range deck family, killable by aggro I guess.
