Glad I don’t play wild

I like this. Seems decently strong but very flexible (is this all Shaman cards now? lol). It is a good card for certain and Shaman has the tools for at least the next two expansions to be a Control-centric class so I am thinking this will see play but MIGHT not be strong enough… we’ll need to see. Dragon Shaman right now is my #1 thought for this card in Standard

Yeah, heaven forbid you might actually see MORE Shaman diversity with this quest in Wild. Both Jade and Shudderwock (which isn’t OTK atm) are tier 3ish decks. This might help them to get into the crowded AF tier 2 bracket.

For reference:

I like this. It’s versatile enough to see play across a variety of cards, is too expensive to work with Shudderwock (on the same turn) but suddenly makes cards like the Battlecry discover spell decent.

But battlecry requires thinking power, me no like think.

Me approve mindlessly choose both effects
Me approve mindlessly draw for 0 mana and playing the card no matter what
Me don’t approve tap and think with battlecry

Why is the quest Murloc focused in art? I wonder if we’re about to see a ton of new battlecry Murlocs that can make-up for a turn 1 no Murloc play.

Edit: right… Muckmorpher is not a Murloc… walks away slowly

tank up shudder shammy is gonna be even more obnoxious with this. Seriously Blizz, admit Shudderwock was a mistake before you break wild with these effects!

Those are Muckmorpher babies, not Murlocs.

Good point Muckmorpher is not a Murloc… somehow… lol

It won’t break Wild… it doesn’t fundamentally change the issues of Shudderwock in Wild right now. It’ll just, potentially, make it even more polarized (that word)

Are they even legit in WOW lore?

I imagine this would see some play in late game decks, but I can’t help but imagine how broken this card would be in an aggro deck in wild.
Double Fungelmancer
Double Former Champ
Double Seaforium Bomber
Double Nighblade
Double BTR
Double Bonemare
Double Heroic Innkeeper
Double abusive Sergent
and the rest goes one and on
Decent cards sudden become good and good cards become insane

It wont break wild, no. It will, however, make an already obnoxious deck more so. They nerfed SCG 'cos of this crap, now they further support it?!? Sorry, I cant get on board with the quest.

starts making Gold

Get on board before I bring Shudderwock OTK Shaman to a tournament… got on board!

In honesty do I reduce my chances to draw AoE in order to play a turn 1 quest? That is the question in Wild (ignoring Big Priest)

Apparently this is another Hearthstone original, like the Tortollan. The Tortollan have actually made their way over to WoW though, so these might eventually as well.

Muckorpher appears to be an adult Muckling, the things summoned by Muck Hunter:

It’s interesting that this is an activated effect that requires spending 2 mana any turn you want to make use of it, as opposed to the Druid quest that gives a constantly-active passive HP.

That seems like it may be a tool to balance the potential power of battlecries, which are much more common than choose-one cards.

2 horrors added to hand and ill be able to trigger each twice!

Gonna be pretty funny on Shudder Shammy after you’ve grumbled your first lot.

Then again, shudder shaman already wins once that happens, all it does is add to the chaos and fun aspect. Competitive wise, you are better off just running Hagatha.

You have been killed by Murloc Shaman, Even Shaman, Big Priest, and Even Warlock while messing with suboptimal cards to power a quest. Please try again =p

Spirit of the Shark on Demand.

From the picture, I fully expect a new Mucker or whatever it is that they are with a great Battlecry. If you can somehow stabilize and double Swampqueen it can be pretty crazy.
