New Rogue Titan V-07-TR-0N Prime

Legendary · Minion · TITANS · T1T4N This minion

The 3 Abilities:

Attach the Cannons!: Gain +2/+1. Deal 4 damage to a random enemy

Maximize Defences!: Gain +3 Health and “Cant be Targeted by spells or Hero Powers”

Full Power!: Gain +1/+2. Draw a Card.

Interesting effect. But requiring a minion on the board when you play it is a big ask.

Attach the cannons feels like a worse Crabatoa to me, but still seems pretty good based on just how insane Crabatoa is.

Maximize Defences can be used on an empty board to protect it so it can use another ability next turn, but this seems like the worst of the 3.

Full Power seems meh. Only draws 2 cards total with negligable stats.

I dont know if Im not seeing something but this doesnt seem too good. Almost Warrior Titan level boring.

I think this one is a wild card because Rogue is dead in the water right now. They really need this new set, even more than Rainbow DK or Overload Shaman.

Having a minion on board won’t be hard if Stealth makes a comeback. They have that previewed Mech already. You can even magnetize that to Voltron to get some extra defense.

Why is THIS the Rogue Titan?

The Boring meter gets a 10/10 for this one. The effect is so boring you would think this is a Paladin card.

Stat buff abilities … really?

Not even gonna bother whether it’s good or bad. Got too bored just looking at the card.

I’m starting to think people in the design team hate rogue… probably a bunch of priest players.

My money is on the appearance of a new, aggressive Mech Rogue. This is a win-more card that capitalizes on things like Divine Shield and Stealth.

Gets ruined by Shard of the Naaru.

I’m looking at this card again. And all i can think is that these are what the abilities for the warrior Titan should have been.

And when you get to the point where a rogue card looks like a warrior one. Something has gone “rogue”.

This should honestly be a 5 mana card, and I fully expect it to get buffed in the future

Agreed, crab on six is still better imo most of the time. But i will tey to play it and make it work

I struggle to see the point of even playing this in ANY rogue deck.

Guys, hypothetical case: Say, Rogue has at least one minion on board from last turn, and they use the first Ability… isn’t that 10 Damage from just one card at 6 mana (2 cannons +2 attack on the minion)?

Like, I get that it’s a boring card, and it comes online pretty late for Rogue… but it doesn’t seem that bad. Only the defence ability seems terrible, but the other 2 seem fine. Worst case, you save a 1 cost minion for it and play it on 7.

Edit: Since Crab is mentioned, I’d argue the only big difference is that this Titan can also hit face at the cost of being kinda random with their Cannons.

My god. This is terrible and doesn’t even feel like a Rogue card. I bet this crap won’t even see play in any competitive rogue deck.
Possibly the worst titan so far…

Sure, if your opponent is a terrible player and plays out their turn 6 without playing anything to the board for 5 turns. Otherwise it’s a big maybe that the 4 damage is going face. Hitting a minion is just not worth it. Especially when the rogue player has far better turn 6 plays.

What hot garbage is this?

Looks like rogue is in for another dead set, are there enough miracle rogue cards staying in rotation to at least keep one viable rogue deck in tier 3?

I bet that Titan will be:

The card everyone says BS about but end being metadefining regardless of this expansion.

Attach the cannons is kinda powerful and Full Power is strong enough.

The metric i using for titans for now is:

Do i care about my opponent using more than one hability enough to remove it?

And for this one the answer is yes.

This might be the first titan to get all 3 abilties off unless enemy has non target aeo.

In my review i have though out a possible play with the new minion to show what is possbile i can see potential even though it seems weak it really isnt.

Its not as bad as it seems however it does seem rogues are getting the mech theme as long as the mechs have the rogue traits like stealth and combo id be ok with it we already have one stealth minion confirmed.

We can discount him on turn 4 and play him turn 5 this mech is meant to be discounted.

We coul then get he effect of of buff our board or draws - 2 becuz it affects him and the board if there is a minion.

We then stealth him with the new mech that was revealed and there go

I would have prefered the minion buff be selectedable.

This titan is not normaly what i would associate rogues with but am willing to see what the supporting cards are before i make my final decision.

Like the Hunter titan probably was more a warrior card, they missed the mark on this one, too. Has ZERO Rogue feel.

Rogue also has the Record Scratcher weapon, you might be able to play another minion and Voltron on an empty board thanks to that.

Isn’t this what happened to Rogue last year? All they had were Thief and Deathrattle memes until March of the Lich King cracked the meta wide open. And we were being terrorized for a month.

and well be able to play gone fishing to dredge and draw sunken vessel then play the titan thats 2 minions for 1 mana

my guess right now is that this card will get a mana nerf

this card is amazing with the other rogue card they showed us

plus zilliax will make this card god tier

People are saying that the Titan is “weak”, because the devs are aware of the power of shadowstep.

But why not make the Titan want to stick on the board for a bigger outcome, like Norgannon (Mage Titan).

So that even if the Rogue shadowsteps it, it wouldn’t be worth.

They teased us with the Stealth/Magnetic minion which has more synergy with Norgannon?

Even if this gets to be Tier 1, it would be the replacement of Totem Shaman. A boring aggresive deck.

First Manastorm and now Norgannon. Let’s hope the keeper for Mage will actually be playable. As much is it the “fun” class, it still needs survivability for cards like these to shine.

Before some donkies start crying about Solid Alibi. First, play the class and then speak. Right now Mage does “nothing” until Turn 4 and then relies on situational win conditions that drop way too late.
