1 Mana - Give your weapon +1 Attack and “Your hero is Immune while attacking.”
Boi, can’t race Aggro Rogue anymore
Also note, it is not immune this turn. This is going to be crazy on Kingsbane in Wild.
Rogue is not all about the weapons, I wish they tried to diversify the cards and move away from weapons.
The card is good though but will be on the spot light for criticism. More Deathrattles!
They also use the word poison in the label but poison is an ability in HS that has nothing to do with this card.
I’m not sure how good it will be in standard, but is a definite boost to Kingsbane Rogue
So glad kingsbane ain’t in standard anymore!
Looks like I’m 2.5K dust short of what I need to start on a reasonable Kingsbane rogue, but I can buy a lot of packs so I might as well start making headway in April. I wonder whether eventually Rogue’ll get a windfury spell…
How important is Patches?
There’s a bunch of cards that have the word poison on them and don’t give poisonous so what? There’s deadly poison, leeching poison, nitroboost poison, and poisonous blade. Poisons are a rogue mechanic in WoW so it makes sense for them to be here too
Depending on the meta it may or may not be used
If people are building/teching more taunts and such that demands a rogue to run into them (sap is gone, and running secrets for the sapper takes away more aggressive cards), this may be very helpful for rogues
If not, rogues would probably just run something that hits harder.
seems circumstantial.
rogue doesn’t have the tools to go for a control game plan (not without healing, aoe, and taunts) . Having the option to use a beefy weapon to remove one or two minions can be helpful but not deck defining. In the case where your weapon is big enough to remove sizable threats, you are often better using it to smack face as well.
ok card, but it’ll need a lot of support to actually shine.
wild… well, kingsbane will love that thing on it.
I like the art a lot.
Hope Rogues get more Utility Poisons of different colors.
It’s probably a good card if you can discover from a pool of 3-4 poisons.
If Rogue gets an Infinite Charge Weapon might change from poisonous to toxic.
1/5 Power, on it’s own
4/5 Power, Discovered/Generated
its weird i expected a freezing or at least decrease attack effect because of that name
Deathrattles are perhaps among the slowest effects in this game and most of the time only worth on taunt (not likely to ever be created for rogue) since if you play againts a Rogue most of the cases flooding the board and being agresive is the path to victory.
Personally I would like to see more solid secret sinergy with secrets that actually impact the board as well as good coin generation effects with good combo cards.
This card is an attempt to make the rogue trade instead of just going face strong in wild pretty meh in standard.
I’m not sure whether this will matter in wild kingsbane or not, tbh. Seems the lifesteal already keeps them high on health most of the time
But the lifesteal is a one-shot now. I can see this slotting in beside it so you get even more heals on the one or two turns you lifesteal into a big threat.
Kingsbane goes a lot face and doesn’t care that much for the immunity effect.
[Deadly poison > Paralytic poison, though dunno if Nitro boost will still be run]
The only more control-ish archetype that I could think of would be Cutlass Rogue who actually trades with his weapon, and thus gains even more defense with paralytic poison.
I agree, you go face with Kingsbane, ain’t no time for trades.
This card will work with the synergy of Rogue Barrens. Wait to see the final reveals: >spoiler< close your eyes kids
Legendary: 4 - 2/3 Battlecry: Draw all your 1 cost cards from your deck.
Secret Spell: 2 - Play 2 (1) costs spells from your deck and draw them.
Minion: 3 - 4/2 - Combo - Restore 1 health and gain 1 health for every 1 cost card you’ve played.
ALMOST negates the need for leeching poison as people have been clamoring for it to be unnerfed.
