The only reason I checked for revealed cards this early was because it looked like the warrior quest from the preview.
Once again Hearthstone have scammed me out of my time and joy, don’t even care much for the card anymore.

Ladder Prediction
It’s basically a 3/5 minion with rush that draws a crappy card
Considering 3/5 stats is worth about 3.4 mana
Rush is about 0.6 mana
And draw a card is worth about 1.5 mana
This card’s worth is much less than 5 mana since the “draw a card” effect is crippled. Probably won’t see play in standard

Arena Prediction
Any card that generates more card are very good in arena, this will definitely see play in rogue as it is a heathy mid range minnon that even has tempo swing capability( also very very important in arena) and generates more cards. I would say this would be an above average pick, maybe 80-95 points on heartharena.

Defend the gates stamped with a free RNG minion.

Don’t like the card, feels like medoricre design. Can’t appreciate cards that seem like carbon copies of existing cards.

thank you mate, cheers.

I like the 3/5 Rush body. The fact that it generates a minion from another class has strong potential as class minions tend to be stronger than the average neutral minion. Obviously, it’s still very much RNG based. I just wish it was 4 mana. This is kind of a feelsbadman play on turn 5. It’ll be decent in Arena though. Overall, I’d rate this as a 2 out of 5.

Missing “50% chance to attack the wrong enemy” card text…

It’s a tempo and value card, but it does both in a mediocre manner.

The 5 slot is very competitive for Rogue, I don’t think it will make the cut in a ladder deck, but it could be an option for Specialist if there’s a swarm deck.

Not impressed with this card. 3/5 is a decent stat line but the effect is some RNG heavy. I wouldn’t really want to run the card personally and it is going to be so annoying as the opponent when this pulls something crazy good >.>

./sigh

I dont think this is that bad really. I think it sees play.

Did you miss Rush?

Removal and generation in the same card is really, really good.

I saw Rush (sorry meant to include when talking stat line)

Generating is good but 5-mana feels like a lot to pay for such a potential dud hit to me on the card generation. I look at this and think to myself I’d rather have a better known quantity than generation and an unknown quantity.

More terrible card art…

Sure, but when you’re looking for consistent Vendetta triggers, this is decent.

This is very clearly a more midrange-focused burgle build, which may or may not be better than the aggro/tempo lackey-based stuff that uses burgles just for Vendetta efficiency.

The deck might not be great, but this card is totally solid.

It’s a solid card by itself, 5 Mana add a card, kill 2 3 drops.

Card seems decent for a tempo-ish deck that wants a bit more gas. Curves well from either Spirit of the Shark or Waggle Pick. Gives you another card for Spectral Cutlass if you wanna go that route. More fuel for Tess. It has more immediate board impact than Hench-clan Burglar at the expense of being a random vs discover and no tribe.

You might be able to run a burgle package that doesn’t play Academic Espionage because of the tempo loss of AE the turn you play it?

Card mechanics - 3/5
Art - 3/5. I don’t hate it but it’s not amazing.
Flavor - 3/5. Ogre bum rushes into someone and steals the card.

Might not be busted enough to run in rogue but the card seems fine in a vacuum.

Really weird combination of effects. But maybe it’s not awful…?

I see this as a kind of survival tool for Rogue. It seems like a decent way to pop a small minion without self-hitting with a weapon, and because it generates a random minion, there will probably be a playable option on the next turn.

Its stat line handles 4/3s and 3/3s, and could pop a Sorceror’s Apprentice if necessary. It also generates a card, which subsequently also activates Vendetta (and it steals from a random class, not theirs, so no Rogue v Rogue crap).

It’s not that the card is good, it’s that it’s a 3-in-1 removal, value generator, and activator for stolen-card centric cards. It has to pay for being able to do all of those things at once.

3/5 is brutal to this cards viability if you ask me. That’s very meta dependent, though. The vast majority of aggro minions top out around 3 health. This is pretty okay there. But…

Its a value generator. If youre facing down aggro, this seems paltry. I guess it can clear two minions for one card AND generates its own hqnd replacement (and triggers vendetta, another great way for rogue to combat aggro).

Im torn. Its not “good”. But its might be a sort of perfect tool in certain metas. Rogue had to rely on these sort of cards now, as their class design prohibits multi removal cards mostly. In a world where your average opponent has mostly 3 health minions AND you have to rely on trades in your favor to combat it (rather than slick multi removal) then this card suddenly overperforms.

That does mean its either awesome or total garbage all at the same time.

Honestly, I kind of like this card. I don’t know if it will see play, but it has a good anti-agro body while generating value. It’s a pretty decent tempo card. It won’t be the play maker, obviously, but I can see a niche for it.

If people are fine playing the 4 mana 4/3 without capitalizing on Pirate synergy, then this is could be playable. Could probably discover instead of generating and still be fair, but might see play if meta is rich in minions that it can value trade. Also makes Vendetta more consistent, so that’s a thing too :man_shrugging:

Not a flashy card, just a background support piece you might want to use.
