New Priest Spell: Switcheroo

Common · Spell · Voyage to the Sunken City · Draw 2 minions. Swap their stats.

Now this is a priest card, wow. You can build a whole deck around it probably to just highroll into an overstated 3/4 drop. Even if you don´t 3mana for 2 tutored draw is crazy good, especially in Priest.

jesus. This looks overtuned as well.
I think this is shaping up to be my most hated expansion yet.

thank god nazmani rotates… else we would see 4/12 nazmani’s popping out every time lol.

Heck yeah! 5 star Priest card!

The swapping stats is just a bonus…it could be 3 mana draw 2 minions and nothing else and it would be amazing. Melphina is going to go bonkers when she sees this!

Wild wombo combo of The Darkness and Stonetush Boar for 1 mana 20/20 charge.

What I wanted when I read the name

Picture Priest swapping a minion of there’s on board, for an opponents lol.

At least its tempo and not endless discovery or a never fatigue enabler.

This isn’t tempo at all?

It’s good card draw for priest, though. Which… I mean I thought priest already had good enough card draw. I’m not sure how you reliable swap stats on minions you want. But sometimes I guess it’s just going to be insane.

The most busted Priest deck on day 1 of release has always been combo decks. Remember Hysteria?
Yeah, it’ll be a very fun day 1 for wild.

LOL Could you imagine the forums if that was a real card in Hearthstone?

I’d be OK with giving Priest a Gilded Drake but only if it costs as much as an actual Gilded Drake in paper.

This could work in a Silence Priest. You have the can’t attack minions with high stats and switch those with low mana cost minions to get the best of both worlds. Your regular minions get the high stats and the Can’t Attack minions get silenced so they can attack and get their stats back. Rather than trying to be cute with The Darkness wombo combo.

Can we meme Purify into Core?

? whats your complaint now…im guessing you are going to claim mage was supposed to get this card too
since this card doesnt have mana cheat no idea what else you could be complaining about

Silence Priest still wouldn’t benefit. Silence Priest fails hard because it relies on being able to silence in the first place making it a two card combo just to hit with a big minion. Lots of other classes are already putting out big minions early without the hassle.

Where this sort of card really shines is playing it on 3, drawing your drake and a big minion. Now, your drake hits board on 4, deals 3 damage and likely clears the board…and is probably a fat 8/8 minion at the same time.

Far better outcome than having to work a silence in.

Just imagining how this card can be used. 8/8’s on turn what? maybe 4 or 5, maybe sooner? If it turns out to be less than it appears, it’s not as though I won’t say so.
I have admitted being wrong many times.
Don’t you wish everyone did?

Well to win on turn 5 with the wombo combo which will be the standard I guess, pretty easy to kill, but my thoughts are you just need to mind blast the enemy two more times which will work if he doesn’t heal up or armour. All the times laying down a taunt wall or getting destroyed would block this though, it needs to be considered when deck building, I think on day one a lot of people will be playing this.

A better version of AI, and as per tradition, they release insanely powerful commons.

Not a bad card, but Priest needs more. It can backfire as well, if you swap stats wrong way, I would probably select insight over this, if there was a choice…

Renew, Insight and Palm reading rotating is leaving huge hole in the Priest decks.

Ah! The ol’ Switcheroo! Shouldn’t it be called ‘Bait and Switch’ (fish bait)?
