looks like quite good support for a potential dragon priest?
kind of a shame draconic studies will rotate out, not really seeing dragon priest take off anywhere before rotation.
Yeah, I don’t see this seeing much play. You MUST draw a dragon for this to be worth it, and there aren’t enough good dragons to make it worth making an entire deck out of.
AND, this card basically means you aren’t running Raise Dead either.
Even if this was 2 mana, I wouldn’t run it.

2mana i think we could attempt to make a midrange dragon priest work.
1mana dragonic into this into amalgam/whatever the spellburst taunt drake is is a very solid curve to then buff up the drake.
still probably too inconsistent, but it´b be fun for a few games.

So that whole Kazakusan meme where you only run only Kazakusan and Insight? You can also run these to almost guarantee you have it by turn 8.

But is it better than a corrupted insight? Idk, but I’ll certainly try to make it work. The problem is, as always, the aggro/OTK meta.
I really wish Horn of Wrathion was 1 or 2 mana with a lesser effect.
When it isn’t a Dragon, 3 Mana to just Draw a Minion/Cycle a card is such a bad deal.
I think this kills Sethekk Miracle Priest. It will clog up the hand as 3 mana spell too much and the deck already has enough dead cards to generate.
I prefer/play Malygos Priest and this cards existence in the Discover Pool is definitely a net Buff to my deck and I still don’t really like it existing as it is.
It’s not a Holy or Shadow Spell, so it won’t support the new Lightmaw Netherdrake.
I don’t like it because Menagarie is fun and Tribalism is really boring/lame/limiting for Deckbuilding and feels forced. I have to run a bunch of stopid Draguns that I don’t like instead of cool cards like Spirit Guide, Korrak, or the new Mi’da Pure Light.

It definitly is not better than corrupt insight, but you would want as many ways to get it on turn 8 as possible.
EDIT: Also maybe throw in the 4/4 dragons and make your deck 3 minions and 27 spells, so you can consistently play the other dragon on turn 4.

Lots of potential with this if we get some good dragons (I don’t think the Kazakusan only deck will be viable), I think dragon priest will love a proactive draw card ( the 2/1 rushers will be great for keeping the board under control).
4/5 potential, but 1/5 until we get more playable dragons ( you need every minion in your deck to be dragons and the effect isn’t good enough to justify running amalgam etc.)

Dragon Meme Kazakusan deck here we go
3 Mana, draw a minion and summon 2x 2-1 rush? this is really good.
Amalgams are dragons, crimson hothead is a dragon, priest has a 7 mana taunt dragon.
This card can be fit into a dragon / shard quest deck very easily.
I am amazed that you don’t see the potential of this card.

You have to run an all dragon priest deck…you would run an entire dragon deck just to get this effect while the downside is you have a bunch of dragons in your deck that aren’t strong enough to work now.
An all dragon Priest deck isn’t good enough.

There is a primative part in my monkey brain that says I can run 2 Insights, 2 of these, Kazakusan, and the 2 aoe dragons and the rest just spells. I’m probably greatly overestimating the power of Kazakusan’s treasures.

ok im seeing this after 5-6 cards from the miniset and im starting to think this is witch wood round two: a clancy atempt to reduce power creep. this card should at least summon 2/2s and still wouldn’t be considered strong, and honestly for all cards i’ve seen so far i kept thinking that “they need this or that change to become descent”.
Is it too hard to find a midle ground between making a card a toxic powerspike or unreasonably weak?
Why doesn’t this card just have the standard ‘If you’re holding a Dragon’ text instead of only triggering by drawing a dragon??

I want so hard for dragon priest to be a thing!
But I’m afraid, even with the new expansion around the corner, it will fall short.
As Schyla pointed out with death rattle rogue : all dressed up and nowhere to go 
Definitely super weak atm, if dragon priest becomes a thing later, this will be a staple card though!
