New player...all I play is bots

I’ve completed all the new player missions and apprentice rank system. I’m up to silver 4 and all I’ve played is bots…isn’t this a multi player game?

It is. The real game is up to D5.

Sadly, They’re helping to keep the game alive.

People are seeing bots at legend, so it’s not changing any time soon.

Because the company isn’t making a real effort to change it, and is in fact dumping more of their bots into the game.

They can just combine all servers. It’s not that popular anymore.

People don’t even try to defend it anymore. “Just climb 100 games of bots to Legend” aka, “you are the problem for bringing up something bad in the game I pay money for and have time invested in”. Nothing to really do but try to ignore it and either keep playing, or stop. But yeah, the game is certifiably dead and bot infested, but beating on its corpse can still be fun sometimes

It is too late in the month… not so many players can be found on Silver level this late I think… After reset or managed to reach a proper win rate… you will see players only. So be patient and practise young apprantice. Bots can help you to reach Gold or Platinum easily. Believe me, you will be grateful for the bots after they vanished. xD

why would they do that there is nor eason for it less popular doesnt mean it isnt popular

the proof is in the fact before and after the bots were adde
queue times didnt change at all

You guys are clueless if it’s a new account he plays against blizzard bots

#BotStone The same old thing can happen!

I’m not sure what you mean but, if the queue time is the same after bots are added, doesn’t it mean that the number of players diminished? After all, bots are always ready. If you can’t find a human opponent, the system will just match a low mmr player against one to prevent extensive waiting.

i can only speak for wild, but its bot city there.

there may be a different matchmaking algorithm for new players. i’m not new and play wild and even at rank 10 silver i’m usually against other players. i wish they’d remove the bots before it turns people away from the game. i guess since some people get tilted when they lose they want bots to give them more wins.

I’m a new player as well and reached Plat 10 and more than half of my opponents are bots. It’s not fun. I’d rather queue longer.

Honestly wondering, if you’re new, how do you know they’re bots? Is there some new indication?

I doubt that the servers are dedicated to Hearthstone only. They probably support other Blizzard (or even Activision) games as well.

Screencapped this. An admission from one of the most prolific pro company posters that the bots literally DO NOTHING!

Not as good as in game presents, or seeing people perp walked from irvine…but what a nice winter veil present!

If they’re actiblizz bots, they won’t show up in your recent/current list. If they are a bot of a different kind, they either have a name like:

asdkjlfhasdjkfhas

or a combination of a color/spectrum type thing and an animal:

neongoldfish

Something like that. The old mainstay of it will hover over the hero power, cards is also a good tell. They still make illogical plays. Which I won’t get into because let’s face it, we want them to keep messing up.

It’s not hard to tell. Their timing patterns are the same. They don’t emote it move their mouse all over the place. They don’t hold a card they are gonna play for a long time. It’s very easy to tell the difference between a bot and a human

There are two kind of bots one blizzard bots and other is player bots. What you see in legend is probably player bot.

As a new player would you rather play against bots to learn the game or just play against seasoned players and get stomped every game? The bots blizzard puts there are for you to learn the game.
