Overall seems like a pretty strong package, especially since the spell Librams will be Holy as well.
The Warmedic seems like the biggest standout in the group.

Librams being holy is going to be busted. Libroom is already strong and super annoying. It’ll see even more play if you can get a steady stream of free 2/2 lifesteal minions.
Hopefully flinger sees a nerf. a general libram nerf would also be welcome.
Warmedic and Cariel Roame seem busted. Not really looking forward to Libram Paladin domination.
a lot (but not all) of Paladin secrets are Holy, which works well with Veteran Medic. Although oddly enough that might give away what Secret you played
The only problem here, and this is a problem for almost everyone that lost their card draw in rotation… is the card draw
Unless paladins get some crazy weapon or removal spells that lets them play like priests (e.g pass/hero power first few turns, hoard spells in hand until you go off later), their hand will likely be a mix of minions, weapons, and spells.
Even if you somehow manage to pull off one good turn, without card draw that means you’re spent after that one turn.
going off the reveal video for Cannonmaster (or whatever the 5 mana Legendary is called), I am 90% sure Paladin is getting a new secret. It would be cool if it was something you could use for Draw.
I was thinking something like; “If your opponent kills two or more friendly minions in one turn, draw 2 cards”
Librams really shouldn’t be holy. Or they shouldn’t be reduced below one if they are given the holy tag. Just way too much stats with veteran warmedic.
Unless paladins are given better burn, game closer or OTK, dumping stats is kinda their only way to win.
…or you go the far opposite end, give them insane defenses and heals and removals so they can fatigue/bore people to death (and that includes giving them a way to deal with locks and their late game shenanigans, from tick to rustwix loops to jaraxxus)
Totally Not DIvine Favor
1 mana secret
“If your opponent drew a card on their turn, draw cards until it matches their hand size”
I’m sure paladin, mage, and hunter will all get a new secret. They’re leaning heavy into secrets and it would be silly if they didn’t make more.
Cariel Roame: Looks fun with a handful of Secrets.
5/5 Power.
Invigorating Sermon: Looks like it will either be unplayed or nerfed to 5. I think the reason no one complains about Survival of the Fittest is they have the opportunity to clear off the minions first.
2/5 Power, probably not played.
Veteran Warmedic: looks really strong defensivly. Maybe OP vs proactive decks. Makes me think Libram of Wisdom will get nerfed, hopefully it gives only attack or only health.
6/5 Power, Paladin nerfs within 2 weeks of release.
This would be really cool and also somewhat prop up Recruits as well.
That’s what I was thinking too. I’d like to see Dude Paladin get a touch more support, it’s always been a personal fav of mine.
Avenge is pretty nice for it. As is the new secret where slapping a 3+ power minion into a recruit will kill the attacker.
I like Dude Paladin a lot because when operating properly, it feels different from things like Token Druid, Zoolock, etc.
It’s also nice in a meta that doesn’t have Baku F’n Warrior in it.
Not impressed. Invigorating seems very costy for a buff in a meta where game end before turn 5. Losing your third or fourth turn to cast this may be a concede. Sure, its great in long drawn out game, but It’s unsure wether paladin will be able to last till that point.
Not to mention that buffing is irrelevant when faced against warrior, priest, warlock , that have hard removal that just ignore the stats. so this look too slow against aggro and doesn’t matter that much against control.
Veteran warmedic may be a good inclusion in libram, though.
It isn’t being played in this meta, though.
Anyone who thinks the Barrens meta will look like this one minus some Year of the Dragon cards has a vastly different game coming their way.
Yeah, the game will end on turn 4, not 5!
As much as I like to be hopeful, I will also keep in mind the possibility that things can get worse.
For example, with their new frost nova on a stick legendary, I suspect we’ll get days where somebody builds this huge board, but a mage just freeze it a few turns and out faced them. The spice… er I mean salt must flow.
Thing is, that legendary is the only card Mage has access to so far that can freeze an entire board.
Cone of Cold only hits 3 things, and Flurry needs you to be at 10 mana before it can even manage that.
On the flip side, building a board with 3 or more things being threatening and/or beefy isn’t exactly something anyone can do easily or repeatedly or both, especially if the mage isn’t completely passive and trying to prevent it in the preceding turns.
