It’s like a cheaper Kirin Tor Mage, but not limited to this turn. Plus it’s for everyone.
Get extra stats for controlling a Secret.
Plus, the final Mage card is a Secret synergy minion:
End of Turn Consecration.

I wasn’t hype for secret mage before these cards. Now I have a little hope for it. Gonna try and mix it with the skeletons.
This gives me some more hope for the deck, but I’m not sold yet. Might need more support before it’s really dense enough in terms of synergies.
Arcane flakmage was good, so this new minion will be good as well.
Anonymous informant it’s redundant in wild secret mage, so I am not sure if you want it: you have mad scientist, the kobold, the 3 mana minion that casts a secret from the deck and the 2 mana spell.
My guess is this won’t be used.
Scuttlebutt Ghoul can be nice for rogue; it’s too expensive for hunter and mage has a better version of it.
It will be very strong in an handbuff paladin, but without secrets it won’t be worth using it (I just remembered cannon master smith is still in standard )
tbh it looks terrible for rogue as well.
i think that’s the worst of the bunch.
for standard:
the 2 cost one is good, discounts, especially ones that carry over rounds, are always welcomed in all decks.
the mage 4 drop seems extremely good, especially coupled with the above. A recurring concecration on a 4/4 for 4 seems amazing.
Flakmage was good because you could get multiple pulses out of it in a single turn and clear sticky or beefy midgame boards with it.
Bartender doesn’t do that.
