Every game of battlegrounds I play if the person playing deathwing knows what they’re doing they just win, sometimes without even taking a hit… deathwing just buys rat packs and other minion generators/ deathrattle minions and he’s borderline unbeatable until super late game, but even then the hero power is still very strong. Like you need VERY high stat minions to stand a chance against him right now.

Just use mechs with DS and magnetise it with the guy that spawns 3 tokens and rats are easy…
he’s probably running the same thing so you lose
herald has worked pretty well against him as long as he doesn’t have cobalt, but herald is t4 and by the time you get him he has the cobalt token combo or buffed his minions already
I been getting destroyed most games. was taking maybe 8 on bad losses feels like on average now I am taking 10 - 15 damage per loss and occasioanlly 20 damage from losses on boards that don’t even seem that synergistic compared to mine.
but today I was offered deathwing got top 2 mostly off garbage deathrattle minions transitioned into dr mechs eventually picked up a 3xbarron gg 1st place.
tldr DW is pretty powerful just pick any minion that either summons 1 or more things! you’re good to go

So you know all of this about deathwing and you didn’t go deathrattles of your own? When you go against nefarion do you keep your cobalt first too? Put your own rat pack down in a game against him. Easy.
I think he might be nerfed too. who knew a totally equal ability to both sides could be so busted. He is so easy to just tier up with. Get a ratpack or two and whatever else deathrattle and just coast to tier 5 and 6 while your garbo token units with 3 attack kill their good units.

I don’t normally come onto these forums, and I came here just to say this exact thing. I just finished a game as deathwing where I finished at 40 hp. Turn 1 mecharoo, turn 2 upgrade, turn 3 rat = never losing a single time. I’m sure that it is possible to beat a deathwing who knows what they are doing (especially if they get unlucky with minion options), but it seems obvious that he is far and away the best hero atm, bar none. Even top tier choices like rafaam or some of the other new dragons don’t seem to hold a candle to DW. I see some people on here defending DW with some strategies to beat him, but the problem is that he requires so much effort to play against on his own and that he is so consistently powerful, not some fallacy that he is completely invincible. And the fact that you absolutely need units like rats in order to stand a chance should be indicative.

yeah I played against a guy who did the exact same thing, had 40 hp the entire game then switched to big dragons
DW is busted beyond belief. He is getting nerfed within 10 days I guarantee it. If he doesnt I wont make a top 10 post for 10 entire days. I cant believe I made a post saying he was worst hero in BG.

Nothing to be ashamed of. On first impression, DW’s hero power looked pretty bad. I think a lot of players are shocked by how OP DW turned out to be.

yeah I think deathwing is unfair and unfun. I got mecharoo into ratpack then just powerlevelled to 6 and won easily. I didn’t buy a third minion until I hit level four. No hero should be able to do that and survive.

dont worry once he gets nerfed to only +1 dmg it will be trash tier and you all will move to tirion again
And then you pick up the overkill dragon and watch him nuke the entire board of tokens.

Whenever i run deathwing with rats i still lose to the juggler way too often. If it has health doesn’t die early it feels almost unbeatable
Funny I think he is the worst of the new heroes. By far. Predictable as hell in all his picks and his line up.
Taunt demons with high hps and 2 jugglers … I laugh at deathwing,if I see him in the line up I prepare for him… Do like him or setup demons or mechs… I think sometimes people just give up,or try to setup dragons to much against him…
I already pick tirion over dw already. I don’t believe in my luck finding a rat early. Tirions just more consistent.
I think most ppl that cry that loud just dont prepare for their opponent at all…they just move into smth specific after 2 turns and hope they find what they want but thats just not how it works. Play ur opponents, not your minions
Deathwings real hero power is to make you waste gold on a ratpack and hang onto it until he’s eliminated
Tirion over deathwing is a mistake. DW is best hero.
