Would it be possible to get a new feature called “skip animations”? It would be player-based, so it wouldn’t “stop” the animations globally per se, but it would allow for those who want to just play cards in a faster way. Almost like a “speed” mode for the game (that isn’t Nozdormu). I have no problem with animations myself, I’d leave them on, but I was reading some people talk about how the extended animations/turns are affecting them so maybe it’s time to implement a feature like this?
I would like to have something like this as well.
I always click on the hero powers and cards of my opponent to skip this animation. If this could be skipped so the card is only shown very shortly so you don’t have to click on it that would be great.

There are multiple cards balanced around the animations eating up your clock. It would take far too much work for them to remove it and fix all of those cards.
You’re right, but is it just me to whom that seems wrong/incompetent?

I noticed they sped up the animations for a lot of cards in BGs such as Magmaloc. A much welcomed adjustment. I don’t see any reason they can’t do it for the rest of HS, at least as an option.
I noticed that the animation for “Baking Soda Volcano” was sped up recently. It used to be alot slower.
