Dis boi got some potential.
So let me get this straight, I get the destroy a friendly minion part, summon a copy of it at the end of your turns. Does that mean it still summons a copy of the destroyed minion even if the cubicle is dead?
Aged like milk, the poor cube.
that cube with Elisa Goreblade shows potential ! or Reska
Oh crap, i think you may be right
Why does it say turns plural instead of turn?
This can’t possibly be an ongoing effect the entire game, right?
Only if the card is alive… but then why is turns plural instead of just turn?
Bro this card may be the strongest card ever made
No, I’m convinced it just says turns so that it’s clear it can keep doing it if it’s still alive. But it won’t summon the minion when this dies.
Turns plural is just to emphasize it’s not a one time effect for 1 turn.
This is actually worse than original cube because that would give you 2 copies this gives 1 for sure, 2+ only if alive… which it will never live.
I hope you are right
Agreed.
The “Summon a copy” portion of the text has a “line break” as well which (usually) indicates its not a part of the BC, but an aura effect.
Because if it didn’t, it could be interpreted as part of the Battlecry, meaning it would only summon a copy at the end of the first turn with no additional potential in subsequent turns.
This seems to me like the kind of card people will love to use to create clunky meme decks, but will be bad most of the time. The effect has potential but for 5 mana, 6 health is too squishy and expensive to work with, especially a tribeless minion. Still fun but worse than og cube.
its good with
Something you see the benefit past turn 8???
I wouldnt call it good ,more like unplayable.
I think they are pushing the cube for cards like the one DH just got with mana cheat.
I hope it crashes and burns.
Perhaps. The card can also be played with important low cost deathrattles. Don’t forget a deck might have multiple (alternative) uses for it too.
It, uhh, works well on perfect virus Zilliax!
Main thing that currently holds this back is that the classes that are most likely to use it already have the yodeler which is just faster, easier to combo, and still not all that widely used.
For most targets this is more or less a vanilla 4/6 with a higher kill priority that resets the health (or in the case of titans, their ability charges) on something.
For many other targets it’s only good if they aren’t killed immediately, like the Zilliax mentioned earlier, but in most of those cases of it hasn’t immediately been killed you are probably already winning.
There really aren’t a TON of cards that are a good target for this… Thassarian is one of the better hits as it’ll reset the reborn if either half lives to turn 5.
There just aren’t a lot of normal play patterns where I’m particularly scared of this cube being played.
This is a prime example of a card that would do well if it can play a big minion like a titan, use the effect, then play this and get a fresh copy at end of turn.
You know, something that requires a lot of mana to do but if it had a lot of mana would be really strong.
You know, like something no class can make use of like playing 9 mana Zilliax and then playing this because that would be 14 mana.
You know, only something a Druid can do. Like how only Druid can make Dorian broken.
So yeah, this isn’t a neutral. This is a Druid card just like Dorian is.
Or warrior. They can chemical spill a virus Zilliax, ram it into something big, get a new one, ram it into something else, then cube the 4/1 and get a fully refreshed Zilliax at the end of the turn.
And the chance for more if unanswered.
Ah yes, that is one interaction.
But we know we won’t really see that because Warriors only play Reno Boomboss. That’s all they care about.
