Very flexible, great for spell Druid and evolve Shaman. A very good card, going to be a staple in either deck.
It’s also a big spell to fit with Groundskeeper.
And Druid can use this after Goru for 3/3 rush Treant Totems as well.
Shaman can use their totem buffing spells or axe on these too.
A very strong and flexible card, this will see play for sure. Might be one of the stronger cards we have seen so far.

Seems ok. The biggest upside I see Aeroponics synergy.
In Shaman:
Shaman has the new Lightning Bloom card and a lot of support cards, but seems to lack draw.
This seems too slow for Shaman. Could be wrong.
Ramp Cards and more Synergy Cards would change my mind.

This seems good for both druid and shaman. But what is a treant totem? Gets the tag of both minion types?
I knew Shaman and Druid would get a token synergy card. Runic Carvings allows Shaman to immediately go wide on board with a single card. For a class that lacks card draw like Shaman, this can be very significant.
Even without considering potential tribe bonuses, the combined stats of this card is 8/8 for 6 mana. The Choose One also allows them to immediately impact the board if needed. These minions can then receive buffs from totem and treant synergy cards to make them even more threatening. I’m excited to see the future of Totem Shaman decks.
You think 8/8 stats for six is a bad card? I find that hard to believe.
Totem Shaman is looking like it could be a formidable deck as a result of this and the totem goliath. The counter to that deck has thus far been to keep their board clear and not let totems stick but this set is making it much harder to do that
It feels a bit like a fair version of the old Force of Nature (6 mana for 3 2/2 Treants with Charge), but summoning 1 more Treant while changing Charge to Rush and causing 2 Overload.
Of course, players aren’t looking for “fair” cards when building top tier decks.
Well totem is a tribe but not treant, so it will surely be a treant with the totem tribe
I presume it has the totem tag, but can still be buffed by anything that buffs/interacts with treants.
