For sure. People with the skillset required to actually hack the system, are gonna risk it all just to make you lose a game. No, those ppl are goin after your personal info; bank account details etc.

This aint Hollywood bud. What you suggest is not something you can just google.

or to leak games in development

like it happened with the last of us 2

Not sure the relevance of your comment, Boreas. It has nothing to do with a disconnect hack…

Edit: nvm, i got it

You’re right, bro. Warriors can literally Hack the System.

Card hover forever?

This is not a hack. It’s a very well known display error that sometimes happens when you disconnect.

Lol yeah, all them Uber hackers who are somehow smart enough to hack blizzards servers, but yeah are unable to beat A random noob at bronze 9…

While you are at it, don’t forget the mandatory “hearthstone is rigged” comment

So your telling me there are people who can hack Blizzard just to make you lose a cardgame?

I guess the reason is pretty simple. Their servers kinda sucks.

Here and there I get disconnected and the launcher being unable to reconnect till I close and restart the launcher.

Yesterday I had that problem, so I have tried to perform a connection test (no problem there) and the most important test - run Destiny 2 (because their servers are pure crap) - no problem there while launcher still had connection issues - gone once I have restarted the launcher.

No idea if there is some problem with their launcher that causes it to somehow get stuck from time to time… but Im almost 100% sure its not caused by some hackers trying to ruin your day.

Try closing down the launcher and restart it.

Yeah its hackers its not that Blizzard is cheap and sometimes their server craps outs its definitely people hacking to win a random Bronze 10 game.

Yeah what windfeather said, you are wrong OP and windfeather is right

I think it might be. I get dropped from wifi and hardwire games in battlegrounds, but only when I have good builds running. I’ve never been dropped when I have a bad build, or early in a match, but when I get a dream build, all of a sudden you’re dropped 5 times in 1 turn??? And I’ve had it happen in different cities, 4g, 5g, and I only ever get dropped when my build is good?

To avoid some connectivity issues I might face with wifi, I use an Ethernet cable instead and still experience disconnects here and there. When I do, they’re usually sequential and restarting Hearthstone resolves the issue. These instances definitely appear to be random and not the result of a hacker.

If you find hackers in the game, just try to find a way to play around it. Just put a Nozdormu or something like that so that you will also screw their turn time. It will piss them off as much as they’ve pissed you.

There are switch devices that interrupt computer to computer connection. Obviously I don’t know the technical terms but some of you know exactly what I’m talking about. Something to do with packets and ping stuff. Point is, yeah, it’s not that difficult for someone to do without touching Blizz servers. I know it happens to me a lot because I have very solid connections on all other games.

Disconnects happen, no question, but are often the result of a shaky WLAN on your side, a programm in background d/l data and suffocating your connection, a misconfigured firewall, a cable internet getting stuffed or even a hickup on the HS servers side (request overload).
s/o individually hacking YOUR game of HS is very unlikely, as others pointed out, and there is no direct player to player connection, every action in a game of HS runs thru Blizz’ servers.
