I get the new Jaina bundle, no new voice lines. In the adventure, younger Jaina only has one different voiceline. With the hero skin, there are no new lines. Her voice is slightly higher pitched. Very lazy, considering the many hidden interactions with freeze spells when you rock the Kel’thuzad skin.
Anyways, I start the new adventure. Mind you, I’ve got a pretty sizable collection. I have most of the Standard cards, a good chunk of the wild cards. I think I’m only one Malygos away from making a Malygos OTK combo Druid. I might need Kun, I forget.
Even if I didn’t have plenty of cards, and I was a Standard only player. Other adventures simply give out more. Even if they don’t give special “Can only be obtained by completing adventure” cards. They at least give you more packs. I beat the Jaina book of heroes, and after a few attempts of dealing with a Sunreaver whose strategy is basically, “ENDLESS SECRETS DURR DURRR ENDLESS SECRETS DURR DURR” Seriously, just save ray of frost and other cheap spells to test for counterspell, rely on your hero power, watch out for explosive runes and flameward, and you got em.
I get… A fancy looking pack. What do I get in this pack? 40 dust. … LAME. That’s it? That’s all this Book of Heroes crap is doling out? You lazy people couldn’t even give the new Jaina skin different voice lines and then we get a single pack that gives us hardly anything?
Well, if you see me playing a bit more Legends of Runeterra. This is why. Seriously folks, the rate at which they give you free stuff not only to get started but to keep going in Runeterra is bonkers. If you are tired of this crap from Hearthstone, go play Legends of Runeterra.
And Blizzard, I will still keep playing both games. Yes, it is disrespectful to recommend another CCG on a Hearthstone forum. You disrespected me, and several other players first though. By hyping up a new skin, for the only difference to be a picture, and a voice a semitone or two higher. Then, a new adventure that really does not seem to be offering much. After, previous adventures gave us things like the Amazing Reno.
Whatever happened to the Dungeon Run format? If the new adventure was going to be minimal rewards. You could have at least put your silly plot into a dungeon run format so we the players had a bit of customization fun with crazy zany cards.
Just, gahhhhh… LAZY LAZY LAZY.
