Well, for some reasons the twitter video won’t show up here.
6 mana 5/5 battlecry: destroy an ennemy minion. Infuse (7) take control of it instead.

That’s one hot emo chick. Would.
A better version of a card that was too good and taken out of the game.
Sounds about right.
That’s… pretty good? Druids might include her, maybe imp zoolock and totem and murloc shaman instead of denathrius/devourer. I wouldn’t put it in Okani and Theotar levels of power but it’s close.
It favors select classes just like everything team 5 prints.
It’s better than ubiquitous cards like the two I mentioned, Brann, School Teacher or Renathal. Too many powerful neutrals make the game feel samey, Sylvanas is in an acceptable power level IMO.
that’s probably true. I’ll have to see it in action.
They need to do an environmental study of the area around Blizzard offices. Must be something toxic that made everyone crazy there or everyone there is on drugs.
I don’t think it will be as good as it seems.
In an aggro meta it’s pointless; it is very good against midrange and late game decks, but we already know they are rare and not the norm.
I can’t think of a current deck that would lose against this card. Maybe quest priest suffers from it the most, but it’s not a big deal for priest anyways.
Rip paladin, even if it was already dead
I was just having a discussion with someone about whether old Sylvanas would see play today. I said she was too slow and underpowered for the modern game.
Seems I was right…
I actually think old Sylvanas is better and would see some fringe play, possibly more than this card.
This card seems bad. I dont know too many good targets for this, essentially a dead card vs aggro. Also I guess Team 5 realizes how easy Infuse was and added a larger requirement.
I see old Sylv from time to time in wild.
I really wish infuse would cease to exist. First time for everything.
Maybe it’s time some keywords got dropped.
I don’t think she’s bad at all. Insatiable Devourer everyone thought was bad as well, and look at that thing at 9 mana.
This is 6 mana take control of an enemy minion…taking control of an enemy minion is a 10 mana effect (Mind Control).
I think this definitely sees more play than people think. Especially in Druid decks.
I think Druids will have a field day with this. i don’t see other classes getting the same benefit.
Thats what happens when they make a keyword that is solely based around killing token minions.
Classes like druid and hunter will be infinitely better than classes like warrior at using the keyword
They devs have backed themselves into a design corner. If they put the infuse cost low enough for the lesser minion-based decks like warrior to actually use then the more minion-based decks like druid get it for free essentially.
So they have to arbitrarily inflate the infuse requirement higher to keep the minion-focused classes in check. But in doing so make it essentially impossible for any class that isnt them to use the card. This is why infuse is an utter failure of a keyword.
Any card like this or denathrius or insatiable devourer are just must includes in druid because the requirements are easy to complete. Just 1 scales of onyxia and this card is done. Scales nerf when btw??? How has it still not been nerfed is beyond me. Any class that doesnt utilise tokens it is a useless card
just the problem with the druid(/game)design atm, every even slightly greedy neutral is just a druid card nowadays, it´s like they have twice the cardpool of everyone else.
Have they ever banned a keyword? I don’t think they have, but maybe now is the time.
Yeah the words “could see play in druid” has probably been the most common I’ve read in the past reveals. And often the card isn’t played since druid’s kit is so well rounded it’s hard to fit any new card unless it’s extremely good like Topior and Seedsman. That’s why I’ve been saying for years that ramp shouldn’t be part of a class identity, or at least should be kept to a minimum.
