Literally half the posts in multiplayer are “NEW CARD X” posted by the same few players.
Yes - you can discuss the cards in those posts.
But it is a massive spam.
Anyone can find the card reveals and lists on this site easily.
Is it a bit exagerrated to make one post for every single card reveal.
Yes / No
Your opinion.
Personally I am fed up with this overflow.
EDIT:
Two players responded quickly. two valid posts already
I see that now that the top of the forum (new posts or posts that have responses) is where the most “NEW CARD” posts are, which indicates interest in the cards/posts.
I dont wanna be a judge, which is why this post is as a questionmark ?
My eyes just burned when opening the forum and I was triggerhappy
But hey now the post is up, so feel free to opiniate.
Absofruitly yes! Would be nice if there were some way to organize them, though, like a new forum section for card discussion

No. Each card is its own conversation. Trying to discuss everything in one place would be unwieldy.

I look forward toward to the new card posts!
I would much rather have enjoyable conversations about the new cards than the Tickatus spam thats there every day.

No, it’s not excessive (it’s also something that happens every single expansion).
Every new card revealed has potential to spark theorycrafting in many different ways. And while some cards get revealed together for synergy or thematic purposes, those cards can draw different comparisons that are better handled by having individual threads for each card.

they just want easy upvotes
Upvotes on blizz forums are worthless

Id much rather see pointless whiny trash threads like this on this forum rather than discussions about new cards. Totally agree!

The problem is that it’s not always easy to see if a card is trash or good at a glance, sometimes discussion is required.
But you don’t know which is which prior to actually discussing it.
Boring cards fall off quickly on their own.
Plus what are they going to displace, more whining about losing to tier 4 decks?

Upvotes do nothing.
The point is that because of how linear this forum is, discussing a bunch of different cards in one thread would lead to mass confusion and burial of individual discussions. Each card getting its own discussion prevents that.
It’s not like this place was packed full of thought-provoking pieces before reveal season. Half the time (or more) It’s just a dumping ground for toxic whining.
Have you seen the kinds of posts that populate this forum? We have one guy spamming with four different accounts, posting video clips from Terminator 3, promoting his YouTube channel and saying all sorts of nonsense. I would much rather see those nonsensical posts removed.
The new card threads have a clear purpose and you can have mature discussions in them surrounding particular cards.

New card posts are a yes please! It’s about the freshest content we ever get on these forms. They sink to the bottom after a week too, so it’s not like they’re a major inconvenience. I look forward to coming here and seeing these new card reveal threads.

New cards posts are the best part of this forum!!
As it’s been said, every card entails its own distinct discussion. I’d like to also point out that this is the same for Reddit; every single card revealed brings with it its own Reddit discussion. I’d just like to advise anyone considering creating a card reveal topic to make sure it hasn’t already been created!
I believe part of the incentive to create a new topic for every card is, being honest, the feeling of providing to the community and being ‘first.’ Additionally, I think any likes that follow are appreciated.
Agree. I prefer new card discussions than reading about complains on Tickatus (even though I dislike the card but I don’t need to be reminded every now and then).

Likes are for self pleasure after you turn into catwoman from batman returns and shove all the stuffed animals down the garbage disposal. When u don’t get enough likes that’s when you grab a new stuffed animal and rage out. They need a “isn’t tech lame” button to upvote on all social media things next to “like” but for some reason they don’t see the big picture. It’s totally a too much of a good thing when ppl socialize with likes instead of talking.

I come here to read about new cards and info about the game, not most of the other complaints. The new set and changes have made me (after a year or so) interested in the game again. So no, these posts are so much more interesting than most.

Well said! I’ll be sure to like your post!
Wait…
On a more serious note, the like button is just a convenient way to show that we agree with someone.
What I don’t like is that it can turn social media into popularity contests, and you can be “punished” for disagreeing with the majority.
Just because many people agree on something doesn’t make it true or right.

Wouldn’t that be peak irony? Using social tech to disparage social tech?
